Wow... This was REALLY powerful, and from what I can imagine, seems like it's be much more of a realistic post war effects on someone who had sacrificed themselves, as well as dealing with grief and guilt to contend with.
I seem to think that a lot of time in the HP fandom, the post war just seems to emotionally blow over after they've dealt with their grief, yet I think Harry and Severus as well as a few others who were in the thickest of it during the war would be HIGHLY susceptible to PTSD.
The emotional turmoil that brings them together, and the desperation really come out in it. Good job.
I love how you put a hopeful twist on the end, and yet, it's Severus who is the one with the hope, and once again Harry is the one who is needing to be saved from the emotional turmoil.
So many times in Snarry you see it the other way around, and I though you but an original spin on the effects of PTSD Harry is dealing with, and yet, everyone is just blaming it on the alcohol, when in reality, he needed help from the beginning.
