This is an exceptionally well crafted little story. I love the use of language, Snape's sharp tongue and slightly softer heart. I liked the way that you used attitudes to homosexuality ""You spent seven years writing essays with a quill by candlelight and it never occurred to you that the Wizarding World might be a little old-fashioned?"" it fits this story so well. Somehow, in such a short story you manage to convey the prejudice that Snape has had to suffer and fit it so well to canon and Harry's bravery, to be honest, to be who he truly is, is deeply touching and so Harry.
