SNARRY-A-THON10: ART: Godric's Hollow
Title: Godric's Hollow
Artist: [info]stefefef
Rating: G
Media: Photoshop + tablet
Warning(s): None
Prompt: #392 - A chance meeting in a garden. Magical.
Summary: Snape visits Lily's and James' old house in Godric's Hollow.
A/N: I thought, what if, during Deathly Hallows, Snape had taken time off his job as headmaster and gone to visit Lily's grave and the old house one last time. What if Harry and Hermione had chose that exact time to do the same :D. I imagine the garden to be very overgrown (I wanted to draw a really overgrown garden, but somehow the composition(which I still don't like so much) got in my way). Oh, and I imagine Hermione being somewhere on the tree next to Harry, looking very disapproving :D "Let's get out of here, Harry!"

Wow this is just amazing, I had shivers down my spine when I first saw this. Snape looks very sinister and the expression on Harry's face seems to be whether to attack or not. Really very good :)

Very nice - I love the style, and harry's expression, and the juxtaposition of snape and harry. : )

I like Severus. Eyes in the shadows, mouth set into a line, probably sad and apprehensive at the same time, but outwardly looking dangerous. (And even though I don't see Hermione, I like her being there too, and I can imagine her, the way you described it. :-)) + (to keep going with the story of people outside the picture, I imagine Snape and Ron will run into each other any moment now ^_^)

I love Snape's grim, mournful expression, and Harry's barely-repressed loathing... I really like the composition, it's really creative and draws us in, as we're seeing Snape almost from Harry's perspective and wondering what he's up to... Fabulous!

The angle that you approached this from is amazing, I love Harry's bird's eye view as well as Severus' location underneath him, guarded yet unaware of Harry seething above him.
The shadows are just the right amount of menacing, and the lack of color is perfect for this setting. Night and war and despair and anger.
Brilliantly done!

I could so very much see this taking place in the book. Snape sneaking in and Harry being furious about it. The black and white is really effective for this. And the perspective is perfect. Great job.

I like the contrast of black with the grey of the shadows here. And the perspective is very interesting.

This is really marvelous. I love the perspective, the B&W, both their expressions. Fantastic work.

I like this very much, especially Severus, who looks unsure of why he is there. Love that you did this in black and white.

I like this very much! Your style is gorgeous. Snape is so cautious, wand out and all, and Harry looks like nothing so much as an animal deciding whether or not to attack, hide or run. There's something stray-cattish or feral about his body language.

Wow! Love the perspective here and I can't keep my eyes off Harry and the expression on his face. I don't know if he is about to jump or trying his hardest not to but I can feel his hatred for Snape.

This is both striking and gloomy. Severus looks very grim, what with his angular form and unhappy face, and Harry’s perched there like a human version of some predatory cat or a bird of prey. The unusual viewpoint, the lack of bright colours, and the peculiar shadows make me think that this depicts someone’s nightmare.
