Summary: Harry had long since stopped seeing the hooked nose, the sallow skin and a face on which a hard life had wreaked its vengeance. Harry had long since seen in this unhandsome man the beauty of his friend, his lover, his husband.

	Ooh, I like this! I love Snape's face and expression especially - the nose! And those down-turned lips. Great Snape. And I love Harry's hair and how they stand back to back, facing in different directions, but not entirely, as if they're kind of looking at each other out of the corners of their eyes. 	A first glance you see Snape's dour look and scowl and Harry's simple acceptance of life - the more you look at the picture as a whole the more you can feel the love between them. I don't know how to explain it more than that... :~D (Reply to this)

	Ah, hon, you know us artists always have a more difficult time staying anonymous. There is an earlier entry that even more guessed correctly than yours. 	lovely. I really love the contrast in their skin tones as well as both of their expressions. I also like how you didn't use the standard Harry-red background and Severus-green background, it makes the colour in Harry's eyes pop (Reply to this)

Oh, 'mystery artist' (though I suspect many of us will indeed guess who you are, as your beautiful style is so distinctive), what a sublime picture! The rosy hues are just a contrast to the reality you draw: two men who have lived their lives, and their faces show it.

What I adore is how, even though they are facing in opposite directions, even though their expressions are contrasts in emotional personality, even though there were so many reasons why they shouldn't have been together, and shouldn't have stayed together, their eyes are still drawn towards each other.

You can see the good humor in Harry's expression, and the fierce loyalty in Severus.' I especially like the contrast in their complexions, and how Severus seems to still shelter or protect Harry with his body, even after all of the years.

A splendid drawing!

	They make such a striking couple, standing back to back, Harry with his open, contented expression and Severus looking as sour and suspicious as ever. Both have gorgeous hair and eyes.
