	Good fic! Far too many fics portray Severus as impeccably erudite and tasteful in every domain but manners. It really warms my heart to think of him with a blind spot for a giant, super-cheesy tattoo that means the world to him. I love the image of Mr. Smart-and-Snarky posing in front of the mirror like a teen, admiring his blotchy, sappy tattoo. Nicely done! (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Great story! I really like how you make Severus--who prides himself on his culture and class--just as soft a touch for the symbolism of a tattoo as any sailor or biker boy! Poor Harry just couldn't be tactful to save his life could he? The fact that his tattoo is even more tasteless than Severus' and the fact that Severus loved it anyway, is beautiful! Well done! Cute! ^_^ What I love best about this is a glimpse into their established relationship, and with humor at that. Severus being domestic and romantic and Harry being all unconditionally loving and accepting despite not everything being the way he wants it. Also, Severus serving tea to Ron, that just gives me such a nice, adorable image of him... of him and Harry living together. Like I said, the established relationship aspect of this is just the best! I loved (and laughed at) this sentence: "Ron looked sheepishly at Severus, who sat ramrod straight next to Harry on the couch, as though enduring a visit from Ron was akin to pulling the stingers of a Blast End Skrewt from out of his backside." ^_^ I wish there was a very large number of little episodes from their married life together, like this story. So if you feel up to writing them... :-) This just keeps making me smile and it's the way they live and relate to each other in this story, not just the incident(s) with the tattoo, that makes me love it.

	Lovely story. I’m glad Harry decided to look up “symbolism” in the dictionary, although I think Severus’ tattoo may actually be a bit less tacky than the giant red heart decorating Harry‘s back.
