Prompt: #19: Ten years after the war, Severus has saved enough Galleons to renovate Spinners End. He's stunned to find the work will be done by none other than Harry Potter.
Summary: Snape and Potter have gone their separate ways after the war. Snape is shocked to find that the builder he's contacted to do some minor repairs on Spinner's End turns out to be Harry Potter. That's not the only shock he's going to have, either.
A/N: Thanks as always to ASC for the alpha read and to BL for the quick beta and to both of them for their encouraging words. As always, any characters you recognize are property of J.K. Rowling, her minions and her keepers; anyone you don't recognize is mine. None of them are making me a single dime.

I enjoyed so much this first story! Snape's character was so deep and tormented. I was cheering up Harry when he put Snape in his place. But I loved that finally Snape liked Harry's changes, especially the shower ;-)
"As far as I am aware, there is no age limit on pleasure." I'm going to keep this sentence ^^

Gracias, Sra! So glad you like it. There's nothing quite like writing an argument between Harry and Snape!

A delightful story! I love the theme of rebuilding, both house and aquaintence, and the two men they have both become. Well done! :)

I like the idea of Snape striving to honour his mother, and Harry accepting that the remnants of what he can't even remember are best let go.
Loved the duel, and Harry finding Snape in the coal cellar.
Well done.

Oh, wouldn't that be lovely? House renovations, done in a few days with a wave of the construction wand.

Glad you liked the story!
