Title: Christmas with the Snapes, I
Challenge: one of the following, pretty much at random: London, Prostitution, Lexicon, Shower, Jelly, Etiolated, Portrait
Word Count: 100
Pairing: Snape/Lupin
Note: Severus takes his new boyfriend home to meet his Muggle cousins. Set about three months after New York Minute.

"I could still go home," said Remus, stamping his feet against the front steps to remove snow. "I've packing to do."

Severus curled his lip, making sure it was on the side opposite his new boyfriend. "You live in a bedsitter in London. I doubt - "

"Sev? Welcome! Happy Christmas!" A tall, sandy haired woman in a red jumper threw her arms about him. "Come in before you catch a chill!"

She released Severus and gave Remus an enthusiastic hug. "You must be Remus. Come on in. It's so good to meet you!"

Remus smiled. So far, so good.

I've been there! The first meeting of relatives, the enthusiasm, the terror. Wonderful!
