Summary: Severus disliked summer, but this one was particularly bad

Summer meant occasional incursions into Muggledom. Whilst Severus appreciated being able to purchase things he missed at Hogwarts, he hated being assaulted with whatever passed for Muggle music as he went about his day.
Silencing charms dampened necessary noises like on-coming lorries, so he forbore. This year was the worst, however.
That song. It reminded him of his folly and the fact Lily's murderer was in his home and he could do nothing about it.
He reached his stoop and slammed the door, shutting off the strains of Jesus To A Child with relief.
