I got stuck doing the candy giveaway part of the day, and didn't get to post these until late, but hey, what else is new, right? If I posted them on time, you'd think there was something wrong with me. I've been on an extended mope lately, and didn't actually do much this month, so I'm extending the Fantasy, SciFi and Horror theme into next month. Hopefully, you'll get a chance to see all those pics I wanted to share with you, after all.

But for today, it's the Halloween pics. This bunch is heavy on the women, as usual - but the NC17 rated post coming up next is heavy on the men, so it all evens out in the end. That's right...October is the month for the fantastic and the horrific. I'm taking a wide view of the concepts - angels and devils, mermaids, centaurs and satyrs, aliens, tentacles, vampires and werewolves, zombies and ghosts, and even superheroes.  Anything goes.  And today I have a variety pack for you, to give you an idea of what I have in mind.  But feel free to interpret the theme however you want - I love it when you guys post. 

And for those of you new to smutday, please feel free to post anything at all, it doesn't need to have anything to do with the theme.  I just use that for inspiration.  Just make sure anything with naughty bits is behind a cut, and members locked.

Oh, and I owe BlackChaps a Superheroes post, so I thought I'd announce next week's Fetish Fridays post early.  If you've got Superheroes art/fanart you'd like to share, next Friday will be the perfect opportunity to post!

Today's first Fetish Fridays offering is by Lynn Paula Russell, an artist I found on EroticPrints.org.  She's an erotic artist who has a fascination with corporal punishment.  Yes, that means spankings, paddlings, canings and even whippings.  But for today, I chose spankings and canings.  You can see a lot of her illustrations on EroticPrings.org at her Illustrations Tag - just click on the book, then click on the illustration in the upper right hand corner of the article, you you can get to some higher resolution images of her drawings.  That's where I found all of these.

I know it's a change from my last few postings lately, but yes, this is het - with a little lesbian content thrown in for good measure.  But if you're hanging around for the gay sex, don't worry, the NC17 rated post coming up next is all about the gay sex.  And the kink, of course - it is Friday, after all.

It seems like I've been ignoring those of you who are not members this month, so I thought I'd put up some uniform pics that even those that can't, or don't want to view the NC17 rated art could enjoy.  As a matter of fact, there is nothing in any of these that's even rated PG13.  This is probably the cleanest post you'll ever see me make.  And after a extremely NC17 rated Insane Thursdays post and a rather intense Fetish Fridays post, we could probably all do with something a bit on the lighter side, right?

J.C. Leyendecker was an early 20th century illustrator famous for his covers for such illustrious magazines as The Saturday Evening Post and Collier's Magazine.  He was also well known for popularizing several ad campaigns - most especially the Arrow Collar Man, which was one of the longest running and most successful ad campaigns ever.  He was a contemporary of Maxfield Parrish, and friend and inspiration for a young Norman Rockwell, who admits he was influenced by Leyendecker's work.

Leyendecker was one of the most widely recognized commercial artists of his day, and his covers for the Post helped firm several iconic figures into the American consciousness, including the New Year's baby and the modern interpretation of Santa Claus.  In 1913, when Woodrow Wilson declared Mother's Day an official holiday, Leyendecker painted a Post cover commemorating the day, which some say actually began the tradition of giving flowers to celebrate the occasion.

And what does this all have to do with smutday, you may ask?  Well, he was a fairly openly gay man, in an era that shunned that, and today, many gays claim to see homoerotic tendencies in much of his art.  Unfortunately, I'm not showing some of the most obvious examples, because there are no uniforms in them, but that's okay.  It's easy to appreciate his art and his lovely, lovely men even without the paintings with more overtly gay images. 

I'm sure I'll make at least one more post of his art at some point - I don't have any of his Roaring Twenties art here, or any Arrow Shirt Men either, and his favorite model for those paintings was his lover of almost 50 years, Charles Beach.  I just love that - most marriages should last that long.  So yeah, you'll see more of him.  But for today, take a look at his uniforms - mostly Military and Sports related, but all of them fascinating.

Anthropomorphism - Attribution of human motivation, characteristics, or behavior to inanimate objects, animals, or natural phenomena. Humans have always done it - from ancient fables and tales to modern children's cartoons and comic books. And it's got its proponents in smut, too. As a matter of fact, you can find a fair amount of it in porn.

Yes, that's right, we're talking about Furries. But not the lifestylers that dress up in Fur Suits. What we're looking at today are all artistic renderings of creatures with a mix of human and animal features and bodies. And yes, many of them are having sex with other creatures. That's part of the fun, right?

In the Furry Community the sexual aspects are often called Yiff, so what we're taking a look at today is a bit of "Yiffing." Of course some artists are better at it than others, so you may notice that I keep coming back to two or three that I was particularly impressed by. There are three posts - the next one will be NC17, and the third will be kinky Yiff - including bondage, hermaphrodites and watersports (uh, also NC17, of course.) Oh, and all three have a mix of het and gay interests.

Oops!  I thought I posted this here a couple of days ago when I posted it on Live Smutday, but I guess I was wrong about that.  Sorry!  It's here now! 

Snow, snow, snow! I'm so tired of snow. We may not have gotten the predicted 12 inches up here, but I think 8 or 9 is plenty, don't you? When it comes to inches of snow, I am definitely not of the opinion that more is better!  I'm sick and tired of winter, so since I can't actually leave Boston right now, I'm going to have to get away through smutday That means I have declared March the month of Travel! Yay! We're going to be getting away as often as we can this month.

And today's offering is a mix of Smutty ways to appreciate the fine art of traveling - by car, bike, train, plane, on horseback, boat, skateboard, motorcycle, bus, life raft, on foot, swimming, walking on water, on brooms, wings...whatever mode of transportation you can find.  Oh, and much thanks to ozsaur for helping me find some rather impressive ways to get around!

I ran into one of my favorite pulp fiction covers sites the other day, and realized I'd never done a post on them here on Smutday. I don't know why, there are some excellent ones to choose from. A lot of these came from Gay on the Range and Strange Sisters, but I had to hunt to come up with some good het covers.  If you have a good source for the het ones, let me know, I'd love to add some more to my collection. 

I have to admit, I chose most of these for their outrageousness.  There are some that are very sexy and hot, and just well done despite the subject matter, but I'll have to save those for another day, because I just couldn't resist most of these.  I think you'll get a kick out of them.

I have a small sample of NC17 rated gay pulp covers for my next post, but they're harder to find...that one will be coming up in a bit.  For now, enjoy these!

Boy, I can't tell you how hard it was to find "orgy" pictures that were R Rated.  But I finally found a few good ones, although I had to stick a few threesomes in to round out the post.  The NC17 rated post coming up next is much larger.  I had trouble cutting that post down to make it reasonably sized enough to post.  So don't worry, I have plenty to post tomorrow, that's for sure.

I almost didn't use this picture, because it's similar to several others that Tom of Finland drew, and I've posted two of them recently, but I just couldn't resist the look on his face.  It makes me smile.

I love tattoos. I think they're sexy, distinctive and often very revealing. You can learn a lot about a person by examining what kind of ink they decorate their bodies with. I mean think about it. A tattoo is yours for ever. Unless you're willing to shell out some big bucks and time to have it removed. And it's not always successful. So most people think hard before they put ink on their bodies. I know I did.

So today we're looking at tattoos and the bodies they illuminate. Enjoy!

Well, by the time you see this it will be December 2nd, but we're going to pretend for a bit, okay? Because I was so relaxed over the fact that I finished my mini_nanowrimo project, that I didn't even think about the fact that it's now December, and that means it's time for our traditional December celebrations: at least one picture a day (and at least one penis picture a day for the NC17 folks) for the entire month of December.

Knowing me, a few of them (like today's) will be late, but it's the thought that counts, right? So there will be at least two posts dedicated to each day from me for the entire month of December. Some may be short, and some will be filled with pictures, but there will be something for every day of the month.

And since this is the month of Holidays, I thought that Decorations might be a good idea for the theme...

Decorative: attractive - serving merely to look attractive rather than having a functional purpose.

I like that. So that's what we're going to concentrate on this month. The ornamental, the embellishments, the things that look make something look pretty. For that matter, the human body can look pretty without an embellishments at all, but we're going to see if we can manage to decorate it this month. Just for fun. And I'd love it if you joined in, so if you have any decorative pics to share, please feel free to post at any time!

That can mean clothing, leather, ropes, jewelry, ribbons, latex, paint, tattoos, spangles...there are tons of ways to decorate the body, and we're going to celebrate them all. So I brought an assortment of decorative ideas for today's post, just to get us in the mood.

Well, I've been working on these Merpeople since last Wednesday - took me a week, but I'm finally getting them up. There are a lot of Mermaids out there, guys. You'd be amazed. I know I was. It was a lot harder to find Mermen, but I found enough to keep you interested, I think.
