You don't need to be a member to see the recs, most icons, stories of any rating or R rated pictures - only the sexually explicit, graphic photos, icons and art need to be Members Locked. If you do not wish to see the graphic stuff, just friend the Journal, and you can see everything but the explicit pictures.
This community is all about the Smut. And that's the only thing we're looking for here. Your own fic, or recs to someone else's, manipulations, original art, photographs, videos, icons - it doesn't matter. We just want the Smut. Fanfiction from any fandom and of all stripes: slash, femmeslash or het is accepted, we're not picky. No matter what it takes: rough sex, tender romance, kinky fetish or vanilla missionary position - as long as it gets you hot, it's all good.
For me, Wednesdays have always been a good day for Smut. Smut Day, Hump Day, Dry Hump Day...it's all the same thing. The honest appreciation of Smut. Nothing like it! But who the hell says it should only be Wednesdays? It's time to spread the love of Smut to everyone, no matter the fandom or the day of the week. And that's what smutday is all about.
Now, every day can be Smut Day.
I'll continue to post my own Smut Day recs and fic, which means every Wednesday (give or take a day), I'll post more Smut of some sort. But beware, I'm primarily a slash fan and writer, so most of my recs and fic will tend in that direction (although not necessarily all.) I'm also very fond of my own favorite fandoms, so the majority of my recs will be from those. But I'm always on the lookout for a new fandom, so don't be shy about introducing me and everyone else to yours. Besides, if it's not in my repertoire, that just means it's someone else's job to get the Smut out in that fandom. Might as well be you.
So, come on. Join in the Smut!
Please read the rules of this Comm, as you will be expected to follow them. I won't be kicking people out left and right (unless they really deserve it), but if you don't respect the rules and your fellow Smutsters, I'll do what I have to do. I won't tolerate disrespect.
