Cool! Thanks! I'll wait for the next version, though mainly because I'm slow as molasses to get around to anything, especially my usual struggle with Photoshop *g*
I love your post-DH Snape. In fact, I can't think of any post-DH Snape that seems more plausible than this one - battered but wise, all but withdrawn from the world that rubbed him raw nearly 24/7 for so many years, lavishing his not inconsiderable capacity for love on a single child instead of frustratingly having to try to spread it across hundreds he cannot sufficiently oversee and instruct. Free of the weight of his accursed past and open to love and a new life - though not about to seek it out!
Above all, your post-DH Snape would be one of the few in or out of the WW who truly understands what happened, the toll is took, and the denial and unjust blaming that both undoubtedly ensued. Which is why Harry's still looking for answers - and will find them with Snape.
(And now I'm also thinking, Kingley's gotta know where Snape is, and will be one of those who respects him profoundly, as well as his need to be apart. Dunno where that came from. But then, you haven't explained what Snape's work is about, either, or how he comes to be safely set up in his cottage by the sea, and I'm just guessing Kingsley has something to do with one or both.)
