Sappho Leaves her Sickbed to Talk to Severus
Sappho used a quick Scourgify on her teeth, threw on her dressing gown, and wobbled down to the Slytherin Common room. She would have given anything to have a few more minutes to fix herself up, although she didn't really have the strength for that anyway. As much as she would have preferred to put on her face and brush her hair first, however, Severus needed her, and that was more important than how she looked.

He was waiting, just as he said he would be, right outside the door that led to the girl's dormitories. Just over the threshold, in fact, which was probably as far as he could go without setting off the spells designed to keep boys out. When she saw him, she smiled, but automatically raised her hands to her head to pat down her hair. "I'm sorry you have to see me like this, my Prince. I'm sure I must look dreadful."
