WHO: Marcus Belby and OPEN
WHERE: Diagon Alley
WHEN: Around lunchtime, May 11
WHAT: Marcus is procrastinating.
RATING: G
WARNINGS: None.

Marcus hated grocery shopping. Not as much as doing laundry, but it was a close second. He avoided it, eating as much as he could scrounge at the pub and waiting until he absolutely couldn't put it off any longer.

Today was that day. So he had reluctantly gotten out of bed before noon and walked over to Diagon Alley - apparating took far too much effort, and he only did it if he had to. He started towards the market, but his steps got slower and slower as he got closer. Merlin, he hated this.

He decided that the shopping could wait a bit. Besides, he hadn't eaten yet. He should get a bite first, he reasoned. You're not supposed to shop on an empty stomach. So he headed over to Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour instead, ordering a large sundae and taking it to one of the tables outside, slowly eating it as he watched the people go by. He was the only one out there, since for most people it was a bit early for ice cream, or they were just getting off for their lunch break.

It was here that he was sitting when someone walked by him, dropping something as they went. "Oi, you dropped your thing," he helpfully called to them, not making a move to get up and help.

Su was running a little late, she had to spend most of her lunch break going back home for a short while to pick up some paperwork that she had left back home. Very stupid on Su's part considering she hardly ever leaves anything important behind, while she didn't brag about it, she had been known for being on top of things.

The time she did have left, she hurried through Diagon Alley picking up a few sandwiches, she did have time to eat a couple but she was still a little hungry. Though she could wait for her next little break. She was hurrying back to Gringotts when she heard a voice from behind. "Hrm?" She said turning around, not sure if the voices was talking to her. Then she looked down and saw she had dropped a few papers. "Oh! Thank you." Feeling a little silly and relieved, that would have been bad if she left them there.

Marcus still made no move to get up and help. He still had half of his ice cream to finish, after all.

"Hope they're not ruined," he said laconically, taking another bite of ice cream.

Taking a quick look over her papers, she smiled. They were fine a little dirt but she could easily clean that up quick. "Oh no, they're fine." Looking back up she was going to say thanks but then she realized that the wizard's face looked a little familiar.

"Hey wait, I know you don't I?"
