Community Rules

Community Rules

  1. Be respectful. Flaming and general rudeness will just get you banned.

  2. Items posted here are not allowed to be reposted anywhere else by anyone other than the creator.

  3. I can't stop you from making requests of the creators. However they aren't' required to take them (although we may occasionally post offers to take requests). I do suggest if you're going to request something, be specific (offer an image of possible), and ask nicely. Demands will probably be ignored as this is a hobby not a job.

Can't think of anything else right now but if something comes up I'll add to this list.

Rules for posting content

Not a lot of rules but I will enforce the ones I do have.

  1. All content must be family friendly.

  2. Any content must be for Sims 2 and/or one of it's expansions or stuff packs.

  3. All downloads should include an image of the item (if content) or a description of what the mod or hack does (detailed enough that we know what it is before downloading). Images over 300x300 should be behind a cut.

  4. All downloads must be free.

  5. Any meshes not made by you must be free to download and the creator must give permission (either specifically or in general) for use for recolors.

  6. You're welcome to post your Sims stories as long as they're appropriate for all ages. This community is open to everyone.

  7. And this should go without saying but you can only post content made by you. In rare cases if you want to post someone else's content because they don't have a journal I need to hear from that person as well and maybe we can work something out.

  8. Last, I can offer webspace to host content for now. If it becomes an issue I'll let everyone know. However you must have the ability to upload the content. I have enough trouble keep up with my own stuff without trying to take care of someone elses.

  9. All downloads must include the folowing information: Necessary Expansion/Stuff packs, Type of download (hack, movie, content), Any special installation instructions, and credit for any meshes that aren't yours (as well as links to them so your recolors will work).

  10. Tag entries with your user name and with what the item is (Mod, Hack, Walls, Floors, Bedroom, Misc...think the categories in the game and tag appropriately although you can tag as a set as well).

If you still want to contribute comment with the following:

Name: (the one you will be posting with)
Email:
Type of content you do:
(hacks, movies, stories, new content, game mods, recolors) I won't hold you to this perfectly. If you tell me you only do recolors and you learn to mesh I won't stop you from posting
Do you have a place to upload your content or do you need space?
Any examples of your content available anywhere?
