Title: Grains of Sands are all We Are
Fandom: Simoun.
Pairing: Anubituf/Guragief
Comments: Anubituf fascinates me, what else can I say. This is just a little drabble from Anubituf's perspective.
Anubituf was not an overly religious person by any stretch of the means. His duty to Tempus Spatium was almost like a commander that he served in the military though at times when he looked over at Guragief, he envied that chaste communication that Guragief seemed to have with the gods of the Tempus, something that Anubituf knew he did not possess. It was that belief that everything was going to be okay, that belief that alleviated worries and made life a thing to be hoped for. When it came down to it, Anubituf was the doubting Thomas, he only held faith in what he could tangibly do for himself, for Guragief and lastly for Chor Tempest.
From his view, Guragief had retained that bit of 'maiden'.. there was something infinitely mothering and welcoming about Guragief, and although at times he longed for children born of both himself and Guragief, he did not mourn it; after all it had been Guragief's decision and as such he respected every and all decisions that came from his lover's being. Just as he had respected every one of Guragieve's decision acting as the Sybillae Aura before that. If there was anyone that could impose emotion into his soul and make him see with his feelings rather then his logic, it was Guragief.
And if he were feeling particularly blasphemous he knew that the only time he ever felt truly close to Tempus Spatium, it was when him and Guragief were locked in an embrace, that kiss where they became one underneath their gods. The kiss meant something, it was only through Guragief that Anubituf could have a definite belief in anything.
If Guragief were ever to leave him in any sense of the word; there then would be left a man who's faith in the world and gods would be no more.
