Lily took a seat in the basement meeting room between her son and husband, glancing repeatedly at Harry. He knew something about the reasons Dumbledore had called this meeting, she was sure of it, but she couldn't get him to tell her what it was. It was never a good thing to realize that your son can't talk to you.
The room was crowded and someone had brought in extra chairs, placing them along the walls. The room was more crowded than she'd ever seen it. There was a low rumble of conversation throughout the room as everyone waited for things to get started. Most of the Order had shown up, but since the meeting had only been announced a few days prior there were a handful of members that hadn't been able to make it. Lily nodded to the people she hadn't seen in a while, but stayed sitting with her family.
