	Okay, yeah. I know 4' 10 and 1/4" rather than 4'10" is quibbling over a quarter inch, but darn it. I need all the height I can get. :p (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Yeah, sometimes! Or they either say "Too bad you're not 1/4 of an inch taller and then you could be 5 feet" or "Too bad you're not 4'10" (since that is the official cutoff for "little people", even though I have long arms and legs so... yeah.) (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Occasionally a doctor will measure me at 5' 1/2", but 5'0" is a much neater number. I actually have several friends at college who are shorter than me, including my roommate :D (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Five foot two over here! And all of my friends and family members are taller than I am, except for my mother (who's the same height as me). (Reply to this)

5'0" here and the shortest in my family, hell my kids are all taller then I am! (Mom always said good things come in small packages.)

My grandchildren are quickly reaching my height so it won't be long before I'll be looking up to them too! :) The only person I know shorter then I am is my stepdaughter who is 4'11".

I hated being short when I was a kid but as I got a bit older I didn't mind so much as I could get into places no one else could. (Well until I got a bit of weight on me.)

	5'2" is me. :) My daughter passed me up about a year ago and she's still growing. But at least she can get the things on the top shelves of the store I can't reach. :) (Reply to this) (Thread)

	I did too, lol. At one time I was the second tallest in my class, then pfffft, just stopped growing. She's 15 now. I don't think she'll get TOO much taller. But then again, her Grandpa is 6'3", so who knows. :) (Reply to this) (Parent)

	5'1" here. It's getting to the point where my oldest nephew is coming up on my height. He's almost as tall as me now and he has yet to hit puberty. I also think it's safe to say my other nephew and my nieces will be taller than me as well, as their other parents (my in-laws) are both tall. (Reply to this)

	5'1" here. I was just a few inches shorter than my mom (she died in March) and I'm a lot shorter than my dad. I can't think of anyone in my family that is shorter than me, except the children. XD (Reply to this)

	5'1" here. Shorter than anyone else in the family (yes, both my parents are taller than me. How that happened, I don't know), and living in a country where the average height is rather tall. So while I don't actually stand up that far, I do stand out. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	yes, both my parents are taller than me. How that happened, I don't know Me too. My mom is 5'2" and my dad is 5'6". You'd think I'd be somewhere in between them, but I'm not. I'm 4'11". (Reply to this) (Parent)
