Or rather, how were you introduced to the series/franchise and your first thoughts on it. It doesn't really matter which version in this case. There are fans that hadn't heard of the original until shows like TKR or KR08 came out.

I was watching Knight of the Drones last night. This is the first episode where the Passive Laser Restraint System was mentioned.

Since Kitt brought it up before Michael met up with Bonnie? Would that make the PLRS another creation of April's? Or was it implemented between the time April disappeared, and Bonnie came back?

Or was it there from the very beginning, and I completely missed that fact.

Just in theory I mean, who could have created it?
