Welcome to the story.

As of now, we have four major characters:

Hestia Jones, Charlie Weasley, George Weasley, and Blaise Zabini.

Others will likely come and go as the story progresses, but most bits will be told from one of their points of view. The comments on this entry will give you a taste for each character.

Blaise Zabini

Blaise Zabini was one of the top in his class, despite the war that disrupted his final year. After leaving Hogwarts, however, he learned that he had few options in the world that did not include living on his inheritance and with his mother, which he did not consider an option. Upon hearing that Jones required someone who could handle negotiations and numbers well, he was quick to apply, and while Hestia thought Blaise was a bit full of himself, he has proved himself time and again, and has become an invaluable member of their team.

As the youngest member of the team, and a bit of a clothes-horse and a fop, he frequently has to prove himself to the rest of the team, or to others they come across. While he prefers not to get his hands dirty, he is quite adept at dealing with things when he's pressed to.

He is also, quite obviously gay, something which he loves to shock others with. Particularly his team-mates.

Blaise has long hair that hangs to the middle of his back, which he tends to wear pulled back, and occasionally straightens to help control it. He has both ears pierced, and has other body-piercings that only his lovers would know about. His parentage is rather mixed--his father was Italian Moorish, and his mother is English black, but also of Middle-Eastern and Egyptian descent. It has left him with very creamy golden-brown skin and deep golden-brown eyes. And, as can be expected, he is incredibly vain.

George Weasley

After the loss of his brother in the final battle, George rather lost control of his life. His future, which had once been founded on jokes and laughing, was now empty and cold. Verity and his sister did their best to keep WWW from going under as George spent his time staying out all hours, drinking, and sleeping with anyone who crossed his path.

After a talking-to from his mother, George promised to find something to give his life meaning. When he heard Hestia was planning on starting up a business chasing down dark wizards, he decided to join her.

Upon fear for her son's life, Molly insisted that Charlie follow George into the business, though George has yet to be aware of that fact. He does have his suspicions, though.

George wears his hair longer than he once did, covering his lost ear, and generally forgets to shave more often than not. He's not picky about his bed-partners, though he tends to choose women over men.

When he's drunk or upset, he's likely to talk to Fred, having long, involved conversations with him. He has a tendency to spend a lot of time talking to him. Particularly when he's having a bad day. Or week. Or month.

He's the most likely of the team to take stupid risks, but seems to have someone watching over him, as he's never gotten worse than a scar.

On his good days, he gets into the inventive mode he had when his brother was alive. These days, though, his inventions are less joke-oriented and more useful in investigations.

Charlie Weasley

As the second son of seven children, Charlie Weasley grew up with a lot of pressure to be the best in all he did. Money was always scarce, so he had to make do with what he could get on his own. When he left Hogwarts, he got a job tending dragons in Romania, hoping to make a name for himself as a daring man.

He’d hoped to prove himself in the war, what with his extensive knowledge of dragons. He’d thought he’d be more helpful, leading an attack on the Death Eaters by air and fire, yet had been relegated to leading a mob of angry townsfolk with pitchforks and torches. It had not been the moment of proof he’d been waiting his entire life for. And then his brother had died…It had been terrible.

When George decided to join a group of bounty hunters, their mother, Molly had implored Charlie to look after him. He’d seen this as his opportunity to both care for his family and shine on his own simultaneously. He’s done very well in this business, and enjoys what he does for a living. If only he could manage to make it through the day without arguing with Hess…

Charlie has red hair that he keeps short and his body is solid, very muscular. He’s covered in freckles, to the point where he looks tan. He has a large Chinese Fireball dragon tattoo on his back; which spans from shoulder blade to shoulder blade. He chose this breed, of course, because its red and gold colouring matched his Hogwarts house. He is a couple inches shorter than his younger brother George. He claims to not have any problems with this. Both of his ears are pierced, and he wears a leather jacket, thinking this makes him very dangerous in appearance. Hess often tells him otherwise…

Hestia Jones

Hestia Jones attended Hogwarts with the eldest Weasley brother, Bill, though she was in Ravenclaw and he was in Gryffindor. While in school, she was on the Quidditch team for three years, as a Chaser, and became a prefect. She and Bill enjoyed their final year at school as Head Girl and Boy, respectively.

Once out of school, Hess entered into the training needed to become an Auror. She did well in all the training, and was eventually taken under Kingsley Shacklebolt’s wing to learn the ropes. Things were going well, until the Ministry caught wind of her “inappropriate” relationship with him. Rather than allow Fudge to sack her, she chose to leave. Her relationship with Kingsley continued until Voldemort’s return in 1995.

The war left both of them too busy to seek comfort in one another’s arms, and they eventually drifted apart. They remained on good terms though, and Hess found that their sordid past came to her advantage when she decided to start up a bounty hunting business after the war ended and Voldemort had been defeated. The Ministry had often frowned upon bounty hunters, but seeing as Kingsley was now the Minister for Magic, he turned a blind eye to her efforts, however morally or ethically questionable they might be.

Hess hired George Weasley first, and his older brother Charlie joined up soon after. The team was not complete, however, until Blaise Zabini joined. The four of them have different strengths and weaknesses, and work well together. Hess soon found out that she and Charlie worked very well together…They have a casual sexual relationship, and enjoy the pleasure of one another’s company very much.

Hestia Jones is Welsh, with black hair and eyes, and pale white skin. Her voice has a lyrical quality, which is often not noticed when she’s cursing, which she does often, and in her native tongue. She dresses mostly in black, tight clothing, with her long hair tied back. When she’s on a hunt, she wears no jewelry or anything that could become caught on anything. She has several piercings, including several in each ear, and her left eyebrow. She also has several tattoos, including an ankh on the back of her neck, and the red dragon from the Welsh flag on the small of her back. This one is Charlie’s favourite…
