Goodnight Strawberries

The incessant tapping on Severus’ back could not be ignored. Groaning groggily from a sleep induced haze, he rolled over, only to be met with a jar of something smelling, oddly, of strawberries.

“Potter, what the –”

“I finally got the recipe down!” his grinning husband seemed to be, literally, bouncing with joy.

The strawberry scent settling into his nose, he finally caught on, eyes perking up.

“You mean that’s…”

“Yup! Strawberry scented, and flavored, lube!”

“Really?” asked Severus as he rolled over, picking his wand up off the bedside stand.

Harry wriggled in anticipation as his mate rolled over, wand in hand, to light a few candles.

“Depulso!”

Harry let out an undignified squawk while looking at his husband in shock. His jaw worked soundlessly while his vision switched between the now empty jar and Severus.

“Oops, wrong charm,” said Severus, rolling back over and fluffing his pillow, “G’night.”

I know I commented already, but every time I see the title of your story, it makes me smile.
It is just brilliant. I am pants at titleling (I know: NOT a real word, but you know what I mean...), so I just wanted to express my admiration for something so inspired.
We all go OOOH, AHHH! at fics, but a little detail like such a lovely title is just icing on the cake, you know?

	Aww, yays! The sad thing is, I was half asleep while writing that and I just threw a title on top lol! For some reason the title is usually the last thing I do and what takes the longest. A catchy title can draw in a reader even if they usually don't read your kind of work, so yeah, I understand what you mean. (Reply to this) (Parent)
