A/N: Written in five minutes as part of a little game we played on the Severus Sighs yahoo group earlier today. I wanted to add a line at the end of it, but the timer went off. Who made these rules, anyway? *grin*

Severus turned to the side slightly, admiring his reflection in the mirror. The full-length black dress pooled gently on top of his feet, and the sleek material shone in the candlelight. The sleeves cut off above the elbow, but his left arm was pressed tightly against his body. Not even the marks of the past could ruin this moment.

When he was like this…then, he could almost feel beautiful.

“Severus?” Severus froze, his hand trapped in the motion of smoothing the fabric at his hip. Oh, Merlin. What was he supposed to say—

But Harry was wrapping his arms around him, pressing his head into his shoulder. His warm hands were at his sides, one dropping to cover Severus’ own.

“You look wonderful,” Harry murmured into his shoulder.
