Notes: This story is set in the 13-14th century England - approximately. All historical facts; food, clothing, armour, methods of combat and terms are for the main part correct, but might be set years apart in the centuries. A list of relevant sources as well as a list that explains terms will be provided. If you have questions, we'll be happy to elaborate if we possibly can.
As for titles it is a mix of correct vs. understandable. The ranking of nobles changed in 1337, as well as the terms/titles. We have chosen not to be particular about that, and just use the more commonly known terms. Also we have chosen to avoid too many 'thees', 'thous' and 'thines'. As much as it provides a mood, it also gets too much at some point. We have thrown in Medieval spelling, terms and ways of adressing each other where we found it fitting.
