Okay, a few of us have realized that singing is a fantastic way to make yourself feel better. Because of this, we came up with the idea to appeal to Ministry to get a law that makes life officially a musical. Please read the following petition and sign below. Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

---

Our nation is faced with grave dangers. The crime rate continues to climb while petty disputes over everything imaginable are abundant. Previous attempts for peace, harmony, and stability have clearly failed and our situation has become dire. Therefore, we pose a possible solution: make life a musical.

Now, you may be skeptical but research has shown that singing increases your feelings of well-being. Studies have proven that singing correlates with decreased blood pressure, lower heart rate, and reduced stress. A study focused specifically on the elderly proved that singing led to 30 less visits to a doctor, decreased risk of depression, less need for medication, overall a general better feeling, and even a higher life expectancy.

If everyone is required to sing through their problems, we would find a dramatically decreased stress level. Without all of that excess stress weighing us down, moods will be improved, which will lead to improved relationships, lowered crime rates, and better health. The study results should speak for themselves. Singing is incredibly beneficial, and everyone’s quality of life would be enhanced if it is incorporated into the federal law.

Sincerely,

Katherine Goldstein
