Who: Luke and OPEN to everyone! When: May 5, 7:18am Where: The Great Hall What: Luke didn't drink the elixir! He's just this way ALL THE TIME! Rating: PG/PG-13 Status: Incomplete
Luke looked from his eggs, glanced around the Great Hall, and raised an eyebrow. It wasn't like everyone and their mothers to be sad and gloomy -well, except for the Slytherins who seemed to be all smirking or arrogant like normal- especially when the bulk of tests and reports were finished. Sure, the seventh years had NEWTs coming up in June and the fifth years had their OWLs, and sure, the seventh years would all graduate (hopefully) and leave Hogwarts forever, but that wasn't something to be depressed about, right? Right! So, Luke decided to do something about it, and he set his fork down. Well, right after he took one last bite of potatoes and eggs and a bacon strip for the road.
What did everyone need? Why, a song of course! But what kind of song? Luke pondered that for a moment. He really couldn't sing "Hey, Jude" especially since there was only ONE Jude (and he didn't forget that!) and really wouldn't apply to the entire hall. And then he came up with an idea - a brilliant one, so he thought - and decided to launch into it. It was just the time to do it!
"You say yes, I say no," he started the Beatles song, jumping out of his seat and throwing his arm around one of his fellow Gryffindors, before going on to the next person with each line. "You say stop, and I say go, go, go. Oh no." He flicked off the bit of spinach from someone's plate and continued down the line.
"You say goodbye and I say hello, hello, hello." He grinned happily and waved to everyone, even if they gave him the weirdest looking expression ever. "I don't know why you say goodbye when I say hello, hello, hello."
