Premise Summary:

The Raccoon City incident didn’t hinder the Umbrella corporation’s underhanded dealings. If anything, the tragedy acted as a springboard. With the media placing no blame on the entity, and instead praising their work and the support they offered the ruined community, Umbrella was seemingly invincible. Untouchable.

Nobody listened to the survivors of the event; their warnings were met with criticism and slander. After a while they tucked themselves away and went underground to plan, while Umbrella’s higher-ups built facilities similar to the Hive, but with much more protection. Veritable fortresses, unseen and unknown of by the public. They began hammering out deals with other countries before too long, and their influence spread across the globe like wildfire.

Ten years after Raccoon City, the world had become an Orwellian dystopia, controlled by one single corporation.

Wiser now, the survivors wait. Their own influence has been spreading, drawing in followers, and slowly but surely a small army has begun to rise. Revolutionaries, people who have seen through Umbrella’s façade, scorned relatives of the corporation’s victims, bitter former employees (and even current employees who have no qualms with stealing information for the good of the rebellion) have joined forces as members of the anti-Umbrella movement.

Of course, it’s not going to be easy… but these few men and women are devoted to their cause, and willing to take the company down by any means necessary.

The former CIA Director Ezra Kramer resigned voluntarily following an inconclusive investigation into the extent of his involvement in Operation Blackbriar. Deputy Director Noah Volsen and Dr Albert Hirsch were each taken into custody, the latter tried before a private tribunal and sentenced to lifetime imprisonment with parole eligibility after ten while the former vanished on bail.

The black ops kill squad, by Treadstone, Blackbriar or any other name, was no more. At least, not for three years - and not on American soil. ( more )

Premise Summary: The Fraternity was formed over a thousand years ago. An elite group was formed. Trained. Honed to perfection to do take justice into their own hands. Skills were passed down from generations, individuals were studied, chosen, taken (mostly against their will at first) into the fold. They were trained, beaten down, broken in. They were made to study the kills of those who came and went before them, sworn to keep everything within the walls of the Fraternity secret. Complete and utter trust was given to the higher-ups. They learned to eat, breathe, sleep what they were doing. They abandoned their lives before being chosen, lived with their new family within the walls of the Fraternity. Now set in New York City, the Fraternity is more elite, and better than it has ever been...

TWO years ago, ONE member of the Fraternity stopped believing in what he was doing. He stopped blindly following orders. He began to question the way things were run. Who were the elders to tell him that the man he was about to kill was someone who would cause harm to another? He went rogue, broke away from the Fraternity. But that was exactly the problem. Once you are in, NOBODY leaves the Fraternity. He took a handful of others, those who were already wavering on the belief system of the Fraternity. Together they had one end. Destroy the Fraternity from the inside out. Reason with those who could be talked to, kill those who could not. One by one, they plan to take down the cornerstones of the Fraternity. So many lives were lost, homes destroyed, and soon, Sunnydale became known as the meteor capital of the world. A shadow seemed to envelop the tiny town. Whispers of strange disappearances, disturbing murders, and questionable establishments have been spreading across the town. Something was coming. Everyone could feel it.
