Who: Ginny and Open
What:
Meditating by the lake
Where: the grounds by the lake
When: Well in the evening close to the sun set.

Ginny knew she was being slightly irresponsible, talking to Lupin and mentioning the moon, but she was actually excited for once. So yes this was some very serious situation, but still what could she do? They were not being interrogated, and she felt like a dangerous package of information that could change, well everything. But Ginny believed int he butterfly effect, she always had, and ever since the "accident" had occur she'd charmed an origami butterfly around her to revolt among her hair, it somehow made her remember that all the damage was already done.

Trying to clear her head from some rather perilous thoughts, she walked out into the grounds, Hogwarts grounds would always be the same, may there be a tomb below the Astronomy tower or not. Ginny was simply out for a stroll, she had nowhere to go, and this was true on many levels, even if she loved this time of the history, she had no place in it and it gave her the sense of a complete outcast, of whom people were actually sort of afraid off.

She sighed to herself as she reached the lake, part of her wondered if dying or killing in this "time" would have repercussions, heavy and misleading consequences, would she get away with murdering Bellatrix Black? Would that be justified? It was reasonable, but lately she felt like she had no reason to reason with herself. Ginny sat by the edge of the lake and curled down to touch the water with the tip of her fingers, purifying water, clean and filled with something called: new. She registered some steps in the distance but only when they got close she paid attention.

The lake just so happened to be one of Sirius Black's favorite places in all of Hogwarts. Well, it wasn't actually in Hogwarts, but it was a part of Hogwarts and that was good enough for him. Sometimes he didn't even intentionally set out with the lake in mind, but he ended up there all the same. Not to mention, whenever he managed to pull Remus away from his books - they often ended up here as well. Maybe that was why he liked it so much, because it sort of reminded him of Remus. At least the tree they usually sat under did. He was by himself this evening though. He wasn't sure how that had happened, but he found himself with time on his hands and no one to spend it with - so he wandered.

He never used to go off on his own much, but the events of the previous summer made the occurrence more and more common. Common but, again, not intentional. He had been trying to work up the courage to talk about it with Remus since he told Remus everything, but he still hadn't found the words. Witty as he was, when it came to things that mattered, he often found himself tongue tied and in need of a translator.

Hands shoved in his pockets, he crossed the lawn to the lake when a flash of red hair near the water caught his eye. He only knew one red head and it brought a smile to his face. Trying his best to stay quietly, he approached her from behind, pausing for a moment before suddenly appearing at her side and looping an arm around her shoulders. "Evans, Evans, Evans - I told you, we have quite like minds - wandering to the same place and all." Sirius said, too focused on scanning the ground for good stones to skip to notice that this girl was most definitely not Lily. "No studying, skipping stones - yeah?"

In a moment Ginny was suddenly kind off embraced loosely by a rather charming boy, and she was again referred as Lily Evans, it all happened so quickly that she had no chance to protest and she didn't, she gave herself a few seconds to analyze the character next to him. He was lovely, gallant, and careless, she had a vague idea of who this may be. She was certain it wasn't James, and such liberties with Lily...?

Finally she could keep the facade no longer and giggled at him, rather amused by his manners and really wondering where this may lead, She'd already met with Lupin, would she meet with everyone of the marauders? Ginny felt a bit guilty for being so excited about these encounters, and even more about wanting to share with these people, get to know them closely.

"Ginevra, or Ginny for short, pleased to meet you" She said turning around to meet him, but making no effort to put space between them. In fact she drew even closer to him, it was still cold for may and the warm body was a very pleasing sensation next to her. If this was Sirius Black he was just what she'd expected and even more.

It was her giggle that caused Sirius to jerk his head over towards her, furrowing a brow and about to ask Lily if she had a cold because that was not her usual laugh .. until he realized that she was most definitely not Lily. And more than that, as soon as she introduced herself, her name stuck out and his conversation with Remus the day prior came flooding back to him. Ginevra. Ginevra wasn't a common name. Time travelers with the name Ginevra even less so. This had to be the same girl who Remus though somehow knew about him. He had made a mental note to check her out, to make sure she didn't - but instead he had just stumbled upon her. Imagine his luck.

Lost in thought though, he didn't immediately retract his arm but when he felt her shift he did. Giving her one of his rather charming smiles, he repeated her name. "Ginny." said as he blew a dark strand of his hair out of his eyes. "Another red head at Hogwart's." he said, smile quirking up a bit into one that was clearly amused. Now how would he be able to track Lily down in the halls? He relied on her bright hair to track her down but now said bright hair could very well belong to this girl.

"Sirius. I thought you were my mate Lily." he explained for his familial arrival.

"Yeah I could tell, Lupin took me by her as well, are there really no redheads here?" This would be interesting at the least, Sirius Black and her chatting and hanging out, this was a scene she'd never thought of before. Ginny took notice of his reaction when she introduced herself, perhaps Lupin had mentioned her, perhaps he'd got that she knew of his little secret.

Ginny wasn't overly pleased to have him take his arm from around her, but she understood the action, it wasn't the most normal way to meet someone entirely new. She tried to ignore how nice and flattering sounded her name on his lips, screening it out as the same eagerness to see what this old world was about.

"I guess Hogwarts is always the same..." She commented on with a sort of dreamy perhaps nostalgic tone.

Lupin. It was strange to hear this odd girl refer to Remus as Lupin. It was probably because he was so close to Remus. Hearing another person, a person who didn't know him as well as Sirius did, address him by his last name just seemed so impersonal. Sirius had tried to soothe Remus's concerns by saying that perhaps she knew him in the future - but if she was addressing him as Lupin .. it didn't seem to fit. Unless he had been right about the professor-y sort of thing. Sirius could definitely see that. He let none of that on though save for a tight smile when she mentioned his friend. "Lily's the most notable one." Sirius replied, smile easing up. He and Lily hadn't gotten along until this year, until she had begun dating James - now the two of them were actually rather close. Instead of truly arguing, they could tease each other and end up laughing. It was why he had so ready flung himself down beside this girl under the assumption that it was Lily.

Glancing over at her when she spoke about Hogwarts, Sirius paused for a moment before replying. "I suppose. Couldn't really say - s'the same for me." because he had never been to the 'future'. "S'been here for hundreds of years though - makes sense that it would be a permanent fixture." Sirius couldn't imagine a world without Hogwarts.

Ginny would have loved to know exactly what went through Sirius mind, she knew little about him and though there was that pain og knowing waht would his future be, looking at him she couldn't help to forget that and grin in almost intimate way. And well perhaps she had already changed time, right?

"Aye well you'll have to get used to having me around" She said a bit ackwardly not sure of long would she be there and unaware of what was making her so nerveous about him.

"Yeah that's a bad kind of world" Thinking of a few years of war and it being closed down she was unable to stop her eyes from wandering over the yet not existing grave of Dumbledore. Yet it was an amazing place wasn't it?

"Hey I've got an idea" It was sort of the dream the twins had always shared, "What about you show me around this place? I bet there must be some differences, and something tells me you are quite a good guide for Hogwarts" Having one of them marauders to show her around the castle had to be an ace idea, nobody could know better.

Until they sent them back. If they could send them back. Sirius hadn't gone so far as to wonder what would happen if they were truly stuck here. Sirius's concerns, for the most part, encompassed all of four people: Remus, James, Peter, and Lily. If any of this affected them in any way, then he'd start to worry. As it was, the one small thing Remus said had him worried because it was Remus and Sirius was oddly overprotective of him - more so than he was with his other friends. Rolling a stone over in his hand, he skipped it across the surface of the lake before glancing back over at her. If Remus hadn't said anything, he would have over looked her last statement - but Remus had said something and Sirius really had to wonder if she not only knew Remus in the future, but him as well. It did make sense. Sirius didn't think he'd ever stray far from his friends. He already lived with James and once they graduated he fully intended on getting a flat of his own with his Uncle's inheritance. He was still planning on convincing Remus to live with him because he didn't want to live alone really. Plus, Remus and him were a good pair. They evened each other out and all that.

"Big place to show around." Sirius pointed out with a crooked smile, dropping the remaining stones he had and wiping the sand off on his pants as he stood, offering her a hand up. He was intrigued now and even though he knew very well that he wasn't supposed to pry into the future - he could at least try, right? "Could give it a try though."

Ginny took his hand up and was careful enough to let it go on a casual way, before anything was assumed. Ginny was strong willed, stubborn and too imaginative, by this point she was already plotting different plans to get involved into the Order, was the Order yet existing? In her mind they had to be there for a reason.

She turned towards him dwelling a bit on how would this guy’s, Sirius’ life would be like over here? Was he a sort of skirt chaser? A hardcore revolutionary? Simple common guy? Funny prank puller? Whatever he was she wanted to get to know him somehow, still, the questions lured in her mind, what about her mother? Her father? Could she see them? Could she talk to them?

It was sort of exhilarating to have a clean slate, at the moment, nobody knew her, nobody cared what she’d do, she could start over as Ginevra Not-Weasley, Smith? Raven? Hell even Borgia would do! This was her and her alone, she again sighed in an almost romantic way and looked up the sky, as she began swirling around, somewhat in love with life again, no weight of war and destruction just her. She gave a few spins before standing in front of Sirius her cheeks blushing madly and a smile on her cheeks.

“What do you think the future will be like?”

Sirius honestly had absolutely no idea what to make of her. When she began to spin around he took a step back and raised a brow, unsure of what she was doing and why she was doing it. Strange bird, very strange bird. Standing his ground as she came to stop in front of him, Sirius quirked a smile of his own to match hers. "Don't you already know that?" he replied, an amused tone to his voice as he shoved his hands in his pockets and jerked his head to the left to start walking. The pitch. The pitch would be a good place to start.

"Or are you interested in what this generation thinks yours'll be like?" That would probably be interesting actually. Sirius wasn't sure what the future would hold. He expected, by her time, the war would be over. He would be older, but hopefully he'd be happy. Lily and James would be married with a million sprogs that were all named after him. Peter would've finally worked up the courage to talk to a girl. And Sirius expected he'd be kicking it with Remus somewhere. Unless Moony got married. Sirius didn't like the thought of that though.
no one would be good enough for Remus. No one would know him like Sirius knew him.

"Gonna write a book when you go back? About us nutters?" he teased.

"Rather the second, I'm a bit curious to know what you think of us..." Curious was little, what were their aspirations, ahd they always wanted to be auros and fight, teachers, was Lupin already a werewolf? he had to be, though he hadn't flinched to her mention of the moon.

"Oh writing ain't my thing, I could make a movie though" She laughed at teh idea, an overly dramatic Hollywood drama, her father would love to help! "I might even pick a glamorous name, something like 'The uncanny hope and anguish of the 1970's!'" It was really a laugh and she was feeling more and more at home, in the end Hogwarts was her home and by her calculations her parents were already out in the real world, she could have her harmless fun.

As she kept walking by his side towards the pitch somethign which quite excited her, she'd been getting better and better with time, she fantasized with the idea of one day following the marauders to the full moon adventures, Harry had told her about it and she found it amazing. Then again fantasies are such cos they can't be achieved.

"You know I feel oddly free around here, it's like being with a clean slate, except with friends..."

"Ah." Sirius replied, not at all verbose at first before he continued. "Well, I imagine Muggles'll have flying cars and I become rather famous for one of my many assorted talents because I have quite a few." he teased, standing up a bit straighter with his last statement. "Better brooms, no war - less mad purists running amuck, infecting the general population with their insanity and close-minded ideals." he bit the last bit out as it got away from him before he shut up. His family was a sore spot for him. A very sore spot. What happened the previous summer had been sitting on his chest all year. He really needed to tell someone - Remus, he needed to tell Remus. It wasn't something you brought up over a game of wizard's chess though.

"Movie? Those are their moving pictures, but with sound - right?" Evans was the muggle authority that Sirius went to with his questions but he was pretty sure he was right. At first he had thought they were simply like their pictures. Imagine his surprise when he found out he was wrong. "Merlin, what a depressing name. I hope the 80's are better at least!" he replied with a crooked smile, scuffing his feet on the ground as they reached the pitch. Ducking inside to make his way onto the actual field, he looked back to make sure she was following before he continued.

"You weren't free back home?" Sirius asked, once they were out in the open again. He raked a hand through his hair, turning his face towards a particularly strong wind before his eyes darted back over to her. "Ah. They didn't come back with you then? I imagine you could make some new ones around here, yeah? Until the lot of you go back to your own time and leave this mad field trip of yours behind."

Ginny couldn't help but chuckle a few laughs at his visions of the future, why did everyone thought muggles would have flying cars? Every muggle she knew hoped dearly on it, perhaps her father's acquaintances weren't a good parameter.

"Oh and what are those talents you speak off?" She teased back in a sort of intimate manner, closing the gap between them for a few seconds. Then she gestured at the field "Oh well the brooms are really something!" She was already missing the feeling of being up in the air, wondered if he might fly.

"Aye, those things, there are some pretty good ones you know? And they get better in our time" She had special interest in all the muggle artifacts having Arthur so close all the time, she knew her way around most devices, and found them very interesting.

"Well..." She closed the gap between them even more, talking in a lower voice, almost confidentially. "I shouldn't tell you this" Her voice was almost a whisper to his ear. "But..."She dragged the words creating suspense, eager to watch his reaction. "The 80's have dreadful haricuts!" She broke off bursting into laughs, it might be silly but it was definitely funny.

Then she returned to the other statement, free? Was she? Not really, too much darkness.

"Have you never felt trapped even when you are supposed to have it all?" Cos that was her point of view, back home there was all this sadness and this life changing responsibilities that she did saw here. "Oh believe me some came along but it feels as if they hadn't."

"What? You want me to list them all out right here and now? Then I'd just lose my charming mysterious demeanor and become some sort of average bloke. - No, no, I think I'll keep them to myself." Sirius replied in the smug tone that usually laced his voice when he was joking about this sort of thing, though he did notice her step closer. "All we've got are the rubbish school brooms. I swear I can walk faster than they fly. It's time to upgrade, I say." Of course, and he hadn't thought of this until now, he could always get himself a new one with the money his Uncle left him. He was trying to be careful with it though. It was just terribly hard. There were so many wicked things on the market.

Leaning forward a bit as she dropped her voice, he listened to what she was saying - wondering if it'd be anything of note - but when she finished, he couldn't help but laugh. "Oi, I think I'll keep my hair just like this, thank you very much. I'll have no dreadful haircuts, not ever." he insisted with a crooked smile before it faded.

Truthfully, that was the story of his life. Trapped when he was supposed to have it all. Trapped with his rich family who tried to make him fit a mold never would and never wanted to. Trapped, trapped, trapped. And even though he was away from them now, their oppression still lingered. "Yeah." he replied, voice light because he was very good with hiding emotions. In fact, he seemed perfectly alright now. His facade was solid. "And, like I said, tons of people here, lots of friends to make."

"Oh well then I guess I'll have to discover them myself" She replied with a little smirk that almost appeared innocent, though it wasn't. Ginny rolled her eyes a bit deep in thought, would he remember this conversation in the future? You know before the accident at the Ministry. "I myself already miss flying, can't spend too much time with my feet on the ground, gotta catch my head" She smiled softly at this, it reminded her of some Alice in Wonderland verse, though she wasn't sure.

Leaning carelessly closer she passed her fingers through his long hair and stroke it very lightly. She frowned her eyebrows in a comical stare, as if assesing the quality, when she was done she finally said. "Yeah don't you dare puff it up" The 80's had been such a dreadful time, she was glad to be still in the 70's lovely timing.

Ginny was a bit thrown off by such a disinterested answer, she'd heard enough to know he'd moved with the Potters at some point. "Well I'm working on that ain't I?" She liked Sirius perhaps a bit more than she should but what was the harm on that?

"That's the way it works." he agreed with a somber look and a curt nod before he was grinning once more. "I know what you mean. Flying is like freedom, it's surreal - it's brilliant." he said brightening.

Of course, he was thrown through a loop when she got ever closer, sucking in a sharp breath and freezing on the spot. He felt her fingers slid through his hair and, really, he didn't quite know what to tay. Because he didn't really know her. And yet she was touching him, running her fingers through his hair. Normally he liked it, at least when he was lazing around with Remus and he decided to toy with Sirius' hair he liked it but he knew Remus. He didn't know Ginny that well. And so it just felt strange. "I promise." he said, taking a step back and offering her a smile.

A smile that grew with her next question as he gave a nod. "That you are." Deciding that walking and showing her around was over rated, he sat down right where he stood and began picking at the grass. "Except, you can't really tell us anything - yeah? About yourselves?" that would make friendships particularly hard it that was true.

Ginny quite enjoyed the company of this Sirius Black and though she knew that in some point she'd have to think about the future, his future and how maddeningly wrong it would get, but she'd muse about that later, right now it was his warm smile and funny remarks what she cared for.

"Oh believe me I agree! I'm planning on becoming professional" It was true Ginny had given much thought to it, though she'd like to give ehr life for something deep and meaningful if the war was over she could see herself living of quidditch.

Ginny completely failed to notice the boy's uncomfortable perception, when she touched his hair, perhaps it was strange, but why did he have to feel so familiar? Ginny wouldn't take this liberties normally, but this was different, at moments she forgot of his real identity and at others she could help but do the connection. Sirius was so important on Harry's life that Ginny had heard almost everything, she wondered what Harry may feel at the moment but she couldn't quite bring herself to ask, she had enough with her own issues.

Her face saddened to his words, it was true, how could they ever be close to friends if she was unable to tell him of her life? Ginny was a girl with set ideals and would risk anything for them, anything except her family and friends.

"I can..." She could, nothing really stopped her. "I can't tell you everything, of course, but I think we may have already changed the 90's just by being here, is that even logic?" She sighed and stumbled rather clumsly to sit on the grass, she made a long pause. Ginny was slightly nerveous and flicked her hair behind her ear as she usually did on such occasions.

"I can tell you one thing though" It was risky and revealed a lot but she guessed they were wondering and it would help them feel easier around her.
She rolled on her back until she was next to Sirius almost a few inches away. She looked at him very seriously and said " All secrets are safe."

Professional Quidditch. It was a nice thought, being able to do that. Despite how carefree he was, Sirius knew full well what he was going to be doing after school. He was going to fight. A war was coming, it was getting worse every day, and he wasn't going to sit idly by and let it happen. Maybe in another world, in another life, that would've been an option. But here and now, there was just no way. "What position do you play then?" he asked, knowing he couldn't really ask her anything else. Merlin, if he was a time traveler he'd have a difficult time keeping his mouth shut.

He felt bad when her expression sobered up a bit though. He didn't really think before he spoke. He hadn't even registered that not being able to tell anyone who you really were would be quite depressing, but he finally put it together when he saw her face. He gave her a small, warm smile hoping to make up for his stumble before she began speaking. "No. It does. Makes sense, unless you learned about a mad group of time travelers invading 1978 in your time." he replied with a crooked grin. Glancing over at her, he sat up a bit straighter though his hands were still tugging at the grass.

All secrets are safe. His mind propelled forward, trying to piece everything together but he could only come to one conclusion. His surprise was evident on his face despite the fact that he had tried so desperately to mask it. Seriously, who was she? How did she know them? Was she one of Lily and James' sprogs or something? His brow furrowed, his lips parted to speak, before his face smoothed out. "Ah. Right. Cause you can't tell us anything." because he was not about to say - ah, right, because my best friend is a werewolf and the rest of us are illegal animagi. Yeah, that was not going to happen, no matter how often he had word vomit.

“Seeker, damn best seeker Gryffindor will ever have” Ginny replied with a tone of clear excitement, then upon realizing she’d just told him her house she bit her tongue, damn, damn, damn. Why was it so freakin’ hard? She’d love to be mates with him and just felt insanely restricted, perhaps she shouldn’t create herself an alter ego? Would that work? In that second a whole story came to her mind ‘My name is Ginevra Watson I’m a 17 year old muggleborn, who knew nothing about magic and wizardry until she got her letter to Hogwarts, I know Nothing about you…’ Yeah right that was a lot easier, but she couldn’t just lie like that could she? Ginny wasn’t exactly good at lying, or even hiding what she knew, her emotions she could usually put them down, but so much as a lie?

Ginny appreciated the smile and took her as some gesture of sympathy, it was hell to know what would happen and be aware that you couldn’t let it out. She was about to sigh but she restrained herself, making him feel more uncomfortable wasn’t her goal.

The redhead registered Sirius surprise and she guessed what would be going through his mind, which was why she was also surprised with his reply. She sensed he knew but wasn’t very sure, he probably guessed a connection, and she really hoped he wouldn’t assume some bloodlines, but that much she couldn’t let on. Then she bit her tongue in realization, not all secrets were safe, when Lupin had left students had been aware of his condition, most wouldn’t make the connection and some wouldn’t remember, but what about the Slytherins? Draco Malfoy? Ginny was almost certain that he knew some of it… God she needed a long talk with Neville! How to hint that she knew? And why was she so eager to tell him such a thing? Perhaps cos she wanted desperately to let him know she was one of the “good ones”.

Instead of replying anything she raised her gaze to meet his eyes, just then noticing the particular shade of grey which was so appealing. Ginny gave him one of those looks, the kind that disarm any doubt you can have, whether it’s for good or bad, tragedy had never Ginny’s been specialty so it wasn’t somber, simply very forward. If her tongue was tied she’d have to communicate otherwise, somehow it was unbearable to betray the confidence of someone who had or rather will help her and her loved ones so much.

The look she gave him in response served to worry him all the more. It seemed to imply that she knew something, something he didn't want her to know. Sirius had a lot of secrets. Most of them he kept to himself. He would rather her know any or all of his though as opposed to Remus's one. Remus. Did she really know what he was? Would she accidentally let it slip like she had her house? Sirius felt a surge of protectiveness well up in his chest as he thought about it which was nothing new in regards to his friend. For a brief second, a flash of anger crossed his features before he reigned himself in. Clearing his throat, he quit tugging at the grass in favor of averting his gaze to scan the pitch.

"So." he said, finally getting himself together enough to speak. "Gryffindor then. S'my house." He wondered if she knew that already. And if she did - how? This time travel thing wasn't so much fun anymore. Sirius didn't like worrying and right now he felt like he could burst because he was worrying so much. "I play beater. My mate James is a chaser." He could talk all he wanted since he was in his own time. "'Fraid my other friends don't like it too much though." he didn't know if he particularly wanted to bring Remus up in conversation though a part of him wondered if he'd be able to read anything in her reaction to his name.

Deciding to give it a go, he turned back to look at her. "Pete's not one for sports. - S'my other friend. And Remus likes books more." Books and chocolate and studying and, Sirius suspected, he really did like Sirius annoying the hell out of him. Even if he sighed and demanded his books back. Secretly, oh yes secretly, he rather enjoyed it. At least that was what Sirius told himself.

Ginny immediately felt exasperated; her purpose ,if any, was to try and make Sirius comfortable and relaxed with her, to somewhat trust her. So far she hadn't been able to do it, she'd done the opposite. She couldn't speak out loud, she'd remember distinctly signing a contract for that, and yet she wanted to make Sirius see that she meant no harm, that she craved desperately for sympathy and friendship, that she too was scared of being stuck there forever. But how to do so? Of being a freer girl she'd have taken his hand and looked into his eyes, say something like, 'trust me yeah?'. But she wasn't that outgoing and it could be misinterpreted

She tried to masquerade a bit to hide her current emotions. "Oh really? We should defo have a match, I'm sick of being on the ground" She didn't know that Sirius played, she knew a bit 'bout James but didn't even know the position, and intimidating as it might be she'd like to play with them, she couldn't help but wonder about Harry and how was he managing around.

Ginny flinched to the mention of Peter, and trying to hide a grimace she looked down, barely noticing when Sirius mentioned Remus. "Aye I know, my mates don't really love it, they love cheering though.

"Yeah. James is brill." Sirius replied, flashing her a smile. "The school brooms are rather rubbish, but like I said, they're fine. S'just annoying during matches when you've got those Slytherin tossers zipping around on faster brooms thinking that makes them better than us." he said, looking very disgruntled. "Like talent doesn't matter at all so long as your parents can buy you a fancy new broom. Rubbish." Really. They were idiots. And most of them had it out for him for 'disgracing the Black family name.' He had the Potters though so he was fine.

He didn't connect the flinch to Peter though. He connected it to Remus and as soon as he did, he felt sick. So she did know. That must be it. She knew, but how she knew - how she came to find out - that was unclear. And she flinched. That wasn't good. Sirius couldn't ever imagine flinching at Remus's name. Making a snap decision, he decided befriend her and keep an eye on her, rather than outcast her and risk her telling someone. He still paled a little, his mind scrambling to try and list all the ways to keep Remus's secret a secret. He had nearly blown it last year by being a complete and utter idiot. He could at least do this for him now. "Most people are afraid of heights." Sirius replied, "But I think they're rather brilliant - especially on a broom. I think flying is the closest thing to true freedom really." and he hadn't had a lot of that until this summer. Not a lot at all.

Ginny completely missed Sirius reaction to her flinching at the sound of Peter's name, and obviously was unaware of his rather tumultous thoughts. She for once thought they'd managed past the awkward stage, and could be a bit closer to being pals with. She'd watch her mouth now, and bite her tongue everytime her words got too risky. The damage with Sirius was done, he probably already guessed a lot of things about her, and probably there was some of true there.

"Aye I hear you out, never had a decent broom in my life" It was really an issue that bothered her, she'd never in her life feel ashamed of her family, but growing up inheriting her siblings old stuff, and having her dad working even on holidays, they'd never had enough money.

She giggled a bit at his words, actually height scared her shitless, but she liked that on a broom, she adored the feeling of adrenaline and possibilities. "To be honest I'm very wary of heights, but I sorta like that on a broom you know?" Why was she even telling him that? She'd never really admitted her fear of heights to anyone but her mother, if the twins had known they'd have done horrible things like leaving her alone on the roof at night or something like that.

Sirius's eyes flicked over to her when she that. Sirius used to have nice things - a lot of nice things. When he was sorted into Gryffindor and began his reign of terror on the Black family though, those things slowly dwindled without a complaint from him. Of course, it did annoy him that his brother had a wicked broom stick and he was stuck with the school ones, but he made do. His friends and freedom were much more important than a fancy broomstick. Always had been, always would be. Sirius wasn't materialistic at all. "Can't say I have either, honestly." he admitted, laying back in the grass now and folding his arms behind his head. Stretching his legs out as well, he stared up at the sky.

Hearing her giggle though, drew his attention and he propped himself up on his elbows to give her a smirk. "Really?" Sirius wasn't at all, which freaked a lot of people in his Astronomy class out when he leaned too far over the edge. "S'not so bad. Doesn't hinder your playing?" he asked curiously.

His statement threw her off, she'd always thought Sirius came from a very loaded family and she assumed he was the guy who had everything from the cribb, then again he was the black sheep. He'd gone living with the Potters at some point, perhaps that had already happened. But it still didn't fit with her perception, well perhaps she didn't know everything about him right?

As soon as she saw his smirk she feared she'd just made a mistake, after all, the marauders were the twins inspiration. What if he decided to practice his pranks on her, she'd be damned. Still the girl found him overly charming, perhaps too charming. Ginny was slightly romantic and with a little tendency to fall for someone she shouldn't. She waved these thoughts away quickly, it was normal to be nerveous on these complicated situations. How she hoped the tripp could have been through a hole of a looking glass, and far away from any repercution in 'Underground'.

"Not really, that's kind off what make it worth it." Sirius probably took her for a loon already, she'd be making so little sense ever since she got there, couldn't she simply disappear into this age to some exotic country and start over? Truth be told the war had been so little ago that Ginny still didn't know were to stand, she missed Fred and always would.

"But I've never told that to anyone" she mumbled still unsure of why was she so open with him, perhaps unable to tell of her story, she had to talk about herself.

Sirius's family was well off, but they hated him more than anything else in the world. He would always take more pride in that than he would in anything else they could give him. It was his shining achievement.

"Face your fears and all that then." Sirius replied then with a nod. "I can see that. I'll have you know I'm rather fearless myself." he said, grinning mischievously at her. "Ask anyone, they'll say - that Sirius Black, he's a nutter he is. Completely mad." he said, looking quite proud of himself. "Oh, and they'll also tell you I'm brilliant at Quidditch and have better hair than James. James is under the impression that his looks charmingly wind swept but I think not. If you meet him, you'll see what I meant. He's hard to miss. Messy black hair, glasses, has tendency to pull pranks and get into trouble with yours truly." he rambled.

He quirked a brow at that though. "Why'd you tell me?" he asked curiously, knowing that was probably prying but he had to wonder. Maybe it was because she couldn't really talk about anything or anyone else - just her quirks, just the things she liked.

Madness doesn’t takes any fears away, but still he looked so careless so free, so young. That was Sirius before spending 13 years in Azkaban, and loosing his best friends, being blamed for it. She gulped some saliva at this thought but did her best to think of something else, perhaps after all, she had to accept the order of time?

Ginny smiled warmly at the description of James, just like Harry it brought a sweet smile to her lips, a remembrance. “Oh really so I just ask for Sirius Black and I’ll get all that? Wonder what they’d tell you of me if you could ask…” Probably the youngest of a very large Weasley family, dated Harry Potter and lead part of the Dumbledore Army, she felt a full sigh building in her chest but she avoided it, she needed to stop showing her emotions that much.

“Well I don’t really know…” She really didn’t, he inspired her some sort of trust that she’d like to mirror him, could she? Were they mates? On the road to be? “You inspire trust I guess, and I can’t tell you anything I’d like to, cos maybe I could change it and then I wouldn’t like to tell you, so to tell you something I have to tell you the stuff that I wouldn’t like to, but as I like to talk to you I guess I do like to…” She stopped and cracked a laugh that sounded so much like a ramble from Alice in Wonderland, she tended to laugh at herself on silly occasions it broke the tension and took away the possibility of being humiliated. “And now I ramble, you see what you provoke on me Sirius Black?” She offered with a warm smile.

"'Fraid of heights, but loves Quidditch?" he supplied with a cheeky grin, "You might get a bit more about me though. I'm rather brilliant you'll come to find." he teased in return. Raking a hand through his hair, shaking his head so it fell right again before listening to her once more.

He got lost somewhere in her ramble though, brow furrowing until she let out a laugh and began speaking once more. "I've got one of those faces?" he hedged with another smile before shaking his head. "Provoke! I don't provoke! I inspire, I'm inspiration." he insisted smugly, puffing out his chest a bit with a crooked grin.

Ginny was already expecting that cheeky grin, but it remained a mystery why she liked it so much? She definitely needed to remind herself of who was that man. "Oh I'm eager to see, I might as well go around asking for the infamous Sirius Black and all his brilliant works" Laughing with him was overly easy, it shouldn't feel so good.

"Oh believe it ain't the face what does the trick" It was probably that naughty smirk and messy hair, and that charm emanating from him, impossible to miss it, even if she wanted to.

She drew closer as he spoke with a playful look on her face, a bit of a tease though she didn't know what she was trying. "Oh and exactly what do you wish to inspire?" Ginny spoke slower and a bit breathier, subtle changes, her body was slightly turned against him and her tone indicated something else? What, she wasn't even sure, on a non conscious level she knew that even if Sirius had a girlfriend or a love interest, she was still a pretty attractive girl and somewhat she should be able to make him interested in her, on the conscious level she didn't know what the hell she was doing.

"In that case, I'll refer to the detention slip archive, it holds my greatest achievements." he said smugly, smile going a bit lopsided.

Of course, he couldn't help but raise a brow at the sudden and abrupt change in her demeanor. He watched her curiously as she shifted towards him, her tone taking on a breathier note, her words seeming to insinuate something else. Sirius wasn't unfamiliar with this either. He had always been pretty popular and he had snogged plenty of girls who began the their approach like this. Something held him back though, a niggling voice in the back of his head. Said voice reminded him of Remus, and that she might know Remus's secret, and that she might know even more than that. Clearing his throat and pulling away, he gave an awkward chuckle and a shrug. "A great many things." he said vaguely, pulling himself to his feet. "Wanna go see the Greenhouses? --Or Hagrids hut?" he didn't connect the fact that she had already let it slip that she went to school here.

Ginny snapped out of it, humilliated for his reaction and a bit ashamed of trying to hit on Sirius; however she didn't let it slip. She faked an indifferent smile and casual ways. After all it was obvious that she'd have some feelings for him, it was someone she'd cared for to some degree. She scroned herself, what was she thinking about? Really waht was she thinking about? First she'd got Remus to dance with her, now she was sort of flirting with Sirius! What was next James? She bit her tongue at that thought, it was too creepy.

"I'll ask F.." For a second she forze, was Filch already there? Yeah he was supposed to be there forever right? "The caretaker for them" Allright if she kept sliping like this she'd have to remain silent for the rest of her stay here. Quickly she changed subject and her spirits rose with the idea of Hagrid, but of seeing him she'd sure suffer from word vomit, she shouldn't really, no, Greenhouses was a safer option and at least she'd keep up with him. "Greenhouses it is" Ginny got to her feet, waving her deep red hair behind her shoulder casually and bit careless, for such a vibrant hair she took little notice of it, funny that it got her mistaken by Lily Potter? Potter? Not yet, Evans.

"Filch." he supplied for her with an easy smile, "Already know you're a Gryffindor, figures you'd be in Hogwarts as well." he said, shoving his hands into his pockets as he stood there. "Why? You a troublemaker then? In the future? That's not too telling, yeah?" Where were the lines that they couldn't cross? It was far too confusing for Sirius.

Scuffing his feet on the ground, he started to head off the pitch. "I reckon Filch'll always be here. S'why you've got to give him a run for his money. Wouldn't want him to be bored now, would we?"

Ginny felt extremly relieved when he mentioned Filch, so casually, it was obvious that they would know of him. True by saying Gryffindor she'd stated she was part of Hogwarts, but she hadn't even guessed that the people from this time didn't know their procedence.

Was she a troublemaker? She'd gone into trouble from time to time, specially with Umbridge, but generally she was tame, a few detentions here and there but she couldn't compare with the twins. "Not really, just when there is a good reason, my brothers though have some amazing career at prank pulling" Her face may have sadened a little in the thought of Fred, but she swallowed her angst, Fred wouldn't like her unhappy now would he?

"Aye, aye though I thought that was peeves function"

"There's always a good reason." Sirius insisted with a wide smile. "There's never not a proper time. It's always a proper time. Who doesn't like to have a laugh?--Mad people, that's who and mad people are mad so they don't know which way is up really." Sirius explained, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Amazing career, eh? Hopefully some of ours remain legendary. Merlin, we've had a lot of good ones." he said proudly, keeping a steady pace and he looked over at her.

"One poltergeist is not nearly enough. Needs four Mara- Gryffndors. Our dorms got it covered." Sirius said with a nod. "We help him out."
