Ummmm question. This SeeD exam that was supposed to have happened on the 26th...?
Did it happen? I wasn't around (and i shouldn't be now let's not talk about that) due to finals (done tomorrrrrow yayyyy) but umm?

just to let y'all know, anyone who has scenes (in progress or simply planned) with Squall may want to try to wrap them up by May 15th. it's entirely likely that I'm leaving the country on or soon after that date, and I'll be starting a new job and adjusting to an entirely different timezone. this may make my internet access spotty, at best, until I've had the chance to orient myself and get settled there, and I don't think anyone wants unfinished scenes to be stuck in limbo for a month or two while that happens ^^;
I'll do my best to be available for scene between now and then, even if it has to be finished via comments or email.

O HAI. JSYK, I'M BACK. Which is probably evident from Tifa's post. WHICH IS WHAT I WANT TO TALK ABOUT, TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE, WHOO!
Anyway, yes. Tifa's post is locked to a new sort of board, which I wanted to briefly explain. It's not a board like the Timber and Midgar boards, per se, but an international communication system set up by AVALANCHE's very own Jessie. The system is completely secure, with the only people who have access being card-carrying (so to speak) members of AVALANCHE. Since the group runs across most continents, this is the only bonafide way that members not in the same city can get in contact without government interference, though (like email) the rapidity with which someone responds depends entirely on how often they check it. Each member is given a login ID when they join--a completely anonymous and randomly generated five-digit number and password, which are never to be shared with anyone, ever. Feel free to pick your own numbers, but make note of them somewhere in your character's profile, so you have a record for later. You can see Tifa's at the top of her post, as an example.
If you have a character in AVALANHCE (which at the moment, I think is just limited to Biggs, Wedge, Tifa, and Rinoa; Cloud didn't get an ID as he was hired on as a mercenary--SORRY BB), they can access and post on the system: just head up your post with [AVALANCHE SECURE COMM], and if they want to lock it further (like Tifa did, sending it specifically to Midgar members), just add in the city or region name into that lock. GROOVY? OK.

Anyway, I (Ash, Gau/Vincent) am on a short hiatus; I'm on vacation right now, and when I get back I'll have some papers and etc to take care of. I should be back in about a week, and I'll try to tag stuff before then too, but yes! I'll be bothering you all about scenes soon enough.

Here comes the ridiculously late introduction! I was over in Vegas for the Easter hols <.< go figure right? Anyway. Hey everyone, I'm Ruby (and I'm not an alcoholic)! It's my first real FF game and I'm quite excited to be here! At the moment, I only have Rinoa but am working on Terra slowly but surely.
RINOA is both a sorceress and a black mage which she's kept a secret from most thus far. What's not much of a secret is that she's the rebelling daughter of General Caraway and also led the Forest Owls to liberate Timber with Avalanche. She's also SEKRETLY behind the new Tim Mani publication which, for the time being, no one, except for those she initially started the group with, knows she's behind it. As the Forest Owls merged with Avalanche, they've adopted the name TIMBER OWLS. more?
Rinoa is ridiculously opinionated, independent, and can be rather stubborn. Regardless, Rinoa's one of the sweetest girls you'll ever meet and her kind and compassionate heart cries out for those who live in oppression. She cannot stand her father, the only one that brings out the worst in her, and I believe it actually could've been her father that shaped her to be more 'tough'. She's outspoken and deeply believes in justice. BASICALLY, she's an opinionated people person who sees the best in (almost all) people.

O hai. FIRST HIATUS NOTICE OF THE GAME, WHOO.
Just to let you guys know in advance, because dates are kind of up in the air for when I'll actually be leaving, but sometime next week I will be vacating my cozy English suburb for the wiles of ~London~, and from thence I will be traipsing into Ye Ole Boot of Europe. BASICALLY I'M GOING TO ROME. For like 10 days? IDK, I only have a one-way ticket, because I'm a rebel who's aware of rising taxes going into Rome vs. coming out. UM. YES. Supposedly I leave for London on the 27th, but my banks (yes, I have two, how cool am I?) are being a bunch of twats right now so it's sort of up in the air; but I figured it'd be best to give out my hiatus notice now, since I AM A RESPONSIBLE MOD LIKE THAT? IDK, I'M MAKING THIS UP AS I GO. I'll be gone somewhere in the vicinity of 3 weeks, give or take, though I might be able to check in VAGUELY every now and again. Needs daily updates, yo.
UMMM. YES. THAT'S IT. If any of this changes I'll be sure to let you know (with the way my bank is freaking out, I might be leaving for London later than anticipated, but I'll definitely be gone from the 2-11ish with little time to access the net), but for now, consider this my HIATUS IN ADVANCE.

Kat here! I'm only...failingly late a little. ^^; And intro posts are not my forte. Yes.
I play Zell! He's...Zell! Most of his info is on his journal but basically he's 18 and in his last year of SeeD training, just getting ready to take his examination. He's pretty laid back, up for anything. He's one of the few orphanage kids to get adopted so he's comparatively well-adjusted. He still takes time to go to Balamb and attend church with his mom, more because it makes her happy than anything (and there's a neighborhood potluck sometimes). Zell's a midget powerhouse and he's more than happy to let people know it. He's also a puppy and it takes a lot to get him to give up on a person once he's set his mind to it (Squall anyone?).
So..yeah. ^^; Also, anybody want to PS some tattoos for us at some point? 8D;;

Hey everyone. This is Cody with the ~skilled~ half of Team Rocket. And uh, that's not saying much. Here is James. He isn't as greedy as Jessie, but he's certainly just as scheming. For those of you who clearly don't watch enough Pokemon, he was born into a really, really rich family. But, they were all boring and wanted him to marry into another boring family, so he ran away. At 18 lol. He's been really sheltered, so he doesn't really get a lot of things, which is why I'm convinced he'd be dead in an alley by now if it wasn't for Jessie. Right now he's dirt poor but REALLY friendly so plots are totally wanted.
My other char is the one and only Phoenix Wright aceobjection. He's a small time defense attorney right now and sort of serves as 6 o'clock news entertainment with his turnabout trials. He usually has to take cases that no one else will because he's too much of a boy scout and it gets him all wrapped up in crime dramas. Drinking buddies would be awesome....and clients. Phoenix needs clients. (Also uh someone needs to app as Harvey Birdman >_>)

This is Ali. And, I'm totally bringing you two babies.
1) Celes Chere from FF6. (pureassnow ... Which I wind up reading 'Pure ass now' instead of 'Pure as snow') Oh man. SHE'S A GENERAL, AND YOU BEST TO RESPECT THAT! She is one of the Magitek Knights that was created by Deling City to compete with Midgar's SOLDIER. She's only just starting to have doubts about what she's doing/who she's killing, but she's still fairly well known as an enemy of Midgar. O_O
Uh, and 2) Is Jessie from Pokemon Team Rocket. (prepare4trouble)If you want your crack, you're going to get it here. She's fantabulous~ And is sorta obsessed with stealing Moogles and getting them to work for her so she can create crazy moneymaking plots! Not that they ever work out... And you better hope you're able to withstand her wrath should you ever hint that she's not gorgeous, or young, or clever, or less than perfect in any way. She firmly believes she's a Mary Sue (With her Gary Stu counterpart), and is bound and determined to make sure everyone sees her that way.
