This community was based on the idea of PostSecret and through LJsecret. We are not affiliated with either website. To be able to read the secrets and post your own, join the community at the top of your browser page.participating. Anyone can participate in secretpost. All you need is an art medium installed on your computer (Adobe Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, MSPaint, etc.) and a secret to tell. You can even make your secret without use of a paint program if you have the means to upload it to your computer (a scanner or digital camera would be useful here.) Upload your secret to a reliable image host, and submit the URL to your secret in the Submissions Post. The submissions post opens every week. You are able to get your secret out without having to tell a single soul who you are. Secrets will then be posted, approximately 100 (give or take) per week. Every secret submitted that complies within the rules will be posted within two weeks of submitting. Please be patient and respectful, as we may encounter problems with the links breaking and the assigned posters no-showing.rules. There are very few rules to secretpost. It doesn't matter what your secret is: a regret, hope, funny experience, unseen kindness, fantasy, belief, fear, betrayal, desire, feeling, confession, or childhood humiliation. So long as it's a secret, we want to hear it. There are four main rules to secretpost that will always be enforced:1. Any secret you post must be your secret. We do not want to hear about what Mary did. 2. All secrets should be kept below 800px wide and 600px height. This is in consideration of the dial-up users who visit the community. 3. Do not flame in the comments! We are allowing anonymous comments, and we are not logging IP addresses. This means everyone can reply to the secrets shared, but anything rude will be screened or deleted immediately. If you are caught, you will be banned from the community, and the ban will be final. 4. The only method of submitting secrets is to comment on a Submissions Post. Thank you for following these simple rules, we appreciate it. notice.
