I hope you all enjoyed the raffle. You can keep on mingling there until you’re all sick of it but it’s time for the first Topic of Discussion, and yes, it really does deserve the capital letters. This is going to be a short one because you’ve probably all already answered this question for each other but it seems weird to jump straight into things without this. So, you have until the end of September with this one, and we won’t hold it against you if you don’t respond this time but do make an effort if you can.

Basically, we want to know: who are you and what are you doing here? Now, the cynical among you might think that I am concerned about the decidedly dodgy nature of most of you and am trying to work out how much I should up the insurance on this place, but I want to assure you that it’s really not about that. Though if you’re planning anything you think the insurance might not cover, cut it out right now.

You don’t have to give us your whole autobiography – in fact, we’d prefer it if you didn’t because I know some of you have been around for a while – but, just a few details would be nice. Regulus is going to get things started and show you how it should be done, so pay attention.
