Date/Time: December 6, evening Characters: Hugo Weasley and open Location: Leaky Cauldron Status:In progress Summary: After doing the unthinkable and studying, Hugo is having an after work drink.
When Hugo had decided to take Scorpius' suggestion that he actually do what Ollivander assign him and actually work at this apprentice thing, even he didn't fully believe that he would. Yet, here he was, sitting at a corner table at the Leaky Cauldron with an almanac on trees that produced suitable wandwood and some parchment with actual notes covering it laid out in front of him. It hadn't been nearly as awful as Hugo had originally believe it would be, although it was no where near as entertaining as Rose always tried making studying out to be, but the young wizard was feeling as though he had reached his limit for the night.
Leaning back, Hugo carefully balanced himself on only two of the chair's legs, constantly shifting his body and arms to keep this new form of entertainment going. The chair was English Oak, which meant it was strong, hard wood, good for protective charms and...why did he know that! If doing his work meant he was going to be studying every piece of wood he stumbled across then this might be a problem.
"Drink?" The unexpected question caught Hugo off-guard and sent him falling backwards, crashing to the ground. Blue eyes shot up to the waitress, a toothy smile appearing before he asked for a Dumbledore Double and re-situated himself in a proper seated position. Hands began moving about, gathering together his notes and books, and cleaning them off the table. Drinking alone after work, he was a grown-up now.
