Efiction Mod: Adding image and link (Logo) to your efiction feed.

I'm just adding it here because I tend to forget. Thought somebody might want it.
Here is my RSS feed with logo.

With metadata, you can add a lot to your feed. Normally, it would like this:

but adding a couple thing for efiction should achive the same effect:

Place thus after:

Add this:

Change the information within.
Don't forget to change the URL for the image to appear.
Put in your info and save. Tekll me if it works. Don't think I forgot anything.

Efiction Mod: Country of Origin with Flags

I don't really consider this my mod since I just created it from the Hogwarts Hat mod. However I like the fact I wrote it. :) I didn't implement all the flags just the ones I wanted and so here it is:

Instead of downloading the silk package here are the extra two I used for Everywhere and Nowhere:

*please don't hotlink, just "save image as" to your computer.*

Download -> Extract -> Upload the flags folder to your site and if using add these two famfamfam "silk images" as well.

Note: If you don't want to use Nowhere and Everywhere, simply remove these:

Custom Form Code

and

Custom Profile Code

But remember in the last line for my Custom Profile Code remove the last {else} in the code or it won't function properly.

Log into your efiction and then:

Admin -> Profile Information -> Add New Profile

In the text boxes:
Name: flag
Title: Country
check the box for field enabled

Drop Down Menu choose:
Custom Code

In the Custom Form Code add this:

Go to your skin's profile.tpl and find a place to add this: Country of Origin: {flag}
Remember to change the URL in the Custom Profile Code.
Hit Save.

At Last:

Once finished, go to your Member Account Info -> Edit Bio

On the list there should be Country and drop-down list.
Choose: Country of Origin or pick from the two extras: Everywhere/Nowhere
Hit Submit.

If you wish to add more flags look at the Country Codes listed, it will correspond to the names that are in the famfamfam icons folder.

Efiction Mod: Adding Favicon

Go to the Header.php and find

Add this after in a new line:

Create a file called extra_header.php in your skin folder and add this:

Suggestion: Add your .ico to your skin folder so if there is an update to efiction, it will not be changed.

Don't forget to add where your favicon image is. That's it. Enjoy.
