10:24 pm [peur_evol] [Link]	DOPE WEEK ??!! Maybe we'll get lucky and somebody will share scans of the classic Green Arrow & Speedy comics dealing with addiction. Or at least some of Tony Stark's embarassing alcohol moments. All I can contribute for Dope Week on such short notice is this link to COMICS WITH PROBLEMS where there's scans of many anti-drug comics, as well as political and other public service themed topics. 03:44 pm [wonderwomanhero] [Link]	Wonder Woman + Sylvia Plath I have sad news. My idol, Sylvia Plath, lost her stepson recently. He hanged himself at his home in Alaska. Something tells me Palin had something do to with it. Yeah.......when hell freezes over. Anyway, Frieda Plath claims he had been suffering from depression for quite sometime, something both his late mother AND Assia Wevill both appeared to have, seeing as how they both killed themselves (Assia killed her daughter too.) 12:10 pm [zegas] [Link]	Destroyer "Destroyer" was a 4 issue mini series published by Marvel back in 1991. The only reason I picked them up is because they sported awesome Walt Simonson covers. Thank God I picked the second issue up; I would've missed the comic page that has it all! Written by Will Murray, penciled by Dan Lawlis and inked by Fred Fredericks, this one scene has everything a comic page should: alcoholism, racism, and decapitation... I just think it’s interesting that two slurs for homosexuals are in two consecutive panels. Were they in use then?
