07:07 pm [geoffsebesta] [Link]	Superman Special #1 and twenty-four hours with Gil Kane Hello there, I would like to present to you two works, or perhaps one and a half. The first is Gil Kane's classic Superman story, "Behold, the Ultimate Man!" The second is my 24-hour comic where I attempted to redraw and retell the story, with mixed success. I don't know how easy this will be to read -- you're reading two things at once, and it can be confusing. There is a lot of writing below. Take your time and please feel free to respond to only part instead of the whole. Superman Special #1: "Behold! 12:07 am [trelas] [Link]	The Life Mistaken I was a big fan of the Green/Johnson run on Superman/Batman, as while they weren't perfect, they had a certain charm and fun to them, while staying true to the main characters and their relationship, actually saying something about it. So, as they are now officially, well for a while now actually, moving on to bigger and better things from the title, I thought I'd post certain scenes from their first issue, which had me laughing at several points. ( ...it never gets old ) this second one is one i only recently discovered. the whole issue is great, but this is Detective comics 439 titled "Night of the Stalker," I saw it in an old cbr post and decided to post this here ( great batman moment imho ) Here's the cbr link http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.com/2009/09/04/a-year-of-cool-comic-book-moments-day-247/ Okay now my question, i am looking for a couple of scans, one is from the first run of of (I think Land's Uncanny run) the page where Pixie comes in and takes down Empath. the other one is a scan from an issue of X-Men i am not sure about the scene is cyclops talking to the students it goes something like this: Cyclops: I don't know whats going to happen, we could die today, or tomorrow, or we could all live forever, like wolverine here. WOlverine: Yay, me. the third scan is one of Pixie and Anole during the hunt for Magick: Anole: My arm itches.
