NEW AVENGERS #57 preview. Huh?
Here are two pages from NEW AVENGERS #57 (out September 26).
The team is still down from Jonas Harrow's power dampener. Even the characters who... don't have super powers?
Wait, wait, wait. Why would a power disruptor affect Clint, who doesn't *have* any powers? And what other disruptor is he thinking about?
The Osborn hair even annoys a verging-on-death Spider-Man.
Jessica, are you sure that's really Carol? Or the Carol from the 616 universe? (Dark Reign's flaw is I'm not sure what is happening when. This takes place before DARK REIGN: THE LIST: NEW AVENGERS, but where is this happening in relation to the current MS. MARVEL series?)
Again, I am confused on Luke and his heart. I guessed that Luke has a heart condition and that his powers healed and hid said condition. Someone else on this board (don't remember who, sorry) said that between Cage's steel-hard skin and super-strong muscles, the excess weight puts a strain on his heart once his powers stop working.
Bucky!Cap doesn't have any powers either, aside from his cybernetic arm. But what other power disruptor? Where/when did leaving to for Harrow to find happen?
I may be geeking out over nothing. Jonas Harrow could be just be smart enough to know that depowering the Avengers isn't enough (given how some of them *don't have powers*) and some kind of "vertigo" effect is also needed.
