Can you guess who's who ?

So there's a costume ball at Barry's police dept. Everyone is dressed in super heroes/super villain costumes. Some from different Earth's

Hm, probably a fake Wesley. Of what I've seen of him he's rarely that cheerful (unless his girlfriend or regular friends are about).

Old comic books, same way Barry knew about Jay Garrick.

Unless he's actually a supervillain in disguise, in which case he's probably been to Earth-Two during one of those crossovers.

Barry was familiar with all of the Justice Society by sight and knew their secret identities(huge comics nerd that he was), I don't know if less notable characters had comic book versions on Earth-One. And this does bring up the Fridge Logic question, "wouldn't then Barry have known who Batman and Superman are under their masks, as well as any other kid who read comics back in the Forties?" So evidently Earth-One didn't have comics about the Earth-Two Supes and Bats.

The "appeared in comic books" thing was mostly or completely ignored when Black Canary came over to Earth-One, because it would have blown her Secret ID out of the water.

I'm pretty sure that was "Crisis on Earth-3", the first JLA/JSA crossover, as the first team-up of just Alan Scott and Hal Jordan had them already acquainted.

well, he might have thought since he wasn't Jay Garrick that Batman couldn't have been Bruce Wayne. Of course the coincidence of the murder of his parents and the fact the rogue's gallery was the same would be harder to excuse.

Yeah, that guy's just nuts. It's kind of a murder mystery because it was let out that Iris was going to die . DC put a bunch of hearings into the story to keep em' guessing.

You think you're old? Judging by the price, all the comics I bought new came out before this.

My brothers always told me I was spoiled. By my time there were special comics shops..they just had the spinning rack at Bookland.

My Brother drew an enlargement of this cover (using that grid method they teach you in middle school art classes) and hung it on his wall. It was a time before all the crossover types. It was just packed with characters you could read it over and over again and see someone new.

... But Barry knows Babs. They've saved each other's asses, even. How much must it weird your relationship with a coworker when you see her and your first thought is "man the last time I saw that hair and costume was right before I tore it off my super-hot wife and rocked the casbah all night"?

You know, that would be even more awkward since superhero costumes are made of spandex. No room to hide anything, there...

I love how people assume Hal is still just another guy in a costume even when they SEE HIM FLY AWAY. Man, and I thought the general public of the 616 Marvel-verse were dumb-dumbs. :D
