Amazon vs Acrobat!

ladymirth asked for scans of Donna putting Dick through a wall. I happen to have been collecting Donna scans for a while, and have those on hand, so...

I hope nobody's surprised that Donna's fail is due to Terry.

Not their best moment for either of them, really. Though Dick at least comes across as competent.

	The George Perez designed Nightwing costume is my favorite for Dick Grayson. It's stylized. It's unique. It's kind of colorful which suits Dick Grayson whom isn't really a dark and grim character. I do like that these two have had their throw-and-lay-down-the-smack fights - it reinforces their brother-sister dynamic and makes Donna's character rather less sickly sweet.

The situation, however, irks me. I HATE that Donna can only be a den mother and not a competent leader. And I know poor Dick must be hurting pretty bad, and maybe he could be pretty cruel when roused, but I can't for a moment believe he wouldn't stop when he makes Donna cry. And I HATE that Donna's self-control is equally fragile - you're a FREAKING AMAZON, WOMAN! You could KILL a human throwing them into walls. I mean, it would be whole different matter if it were someone superpowered, but this is DICK, who is not only non-powered but is someone Donna loves dearly. At least have a moment of "Oh my God, what have I done?" >(

	Yeah, but she knows he can take it. I actually enjoyed the fact that Donna sucked as a leader. She tended to be portrayed as perfect, and here was something she just didn't do well. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
