Those two pages are really the clincher. On the one hand, they really need to go into about Cass more. I'll be really disappointed if she doesn't stick around regularly, or at least get some major face-time elsewhere.
On the other, it almost seems metacritical, like Cass is saying "yeah, they want to stick me behind bad writers, refuse to believe I'm a good guy always and lead vast campaigns to distract from my role here? Well fuck them! They can all go to hell, then!" It won't be as fun unless she doesn't fall into limbo or turn up as a villain again, though.
