The time Green Goblin killed Gwen Stacy on national television
Someone asked if the Goblin had been shown killing on national television. And, you know what? Yeah, yeah, he had been. You know why? Because he put it on there himself. Since this is apparently the first time the public has seen it, we must presume that Goblin set up his own camera beforehand. (Which would be an interesting retcon to get into if someone ever bothered to follow up on it.)

The talking heads respond.
As usual, Jonah abandons his journalistic integrity for his obsession.
Why does no one question why the Goblin had the footage? Why does no one check 'cause of death' by the medical examiner? It is of interest to note that Peter was the first to cover up for Osborn, and he stays silent about Osborn's identity in this arc because of the mutual threat of exposure and threats to loved ones Osborn was making. Jameson was also aware of Osborn's true identity, but had been cowed by Osborn's threats into cooperating before (post-Clone Saga). A book written by Ben Urich had actually been published revealing Osborn as the Goblin, but when Osborn returned he used legal means to get the run pulped.
Some of the dialogue is very juicy in this arc, but the overall plot required hefty willingness to suspend disbelief.
