Catwoman is the woman for Batman-Bruce Wayne. Those two are made for each other. It's as a villainess that Catwoman captures Batman's attention, holds his interest, gets him to pursue her. The excitement and exhilaration of the relationship lies largely in the chase. All others are arm candy for Wayne (Vicki, etc.) and wannabe's (the forced marriage to Talia). The whole Wonder Woman romance in JLA by Joe Kelly and the Justice League cartoons was absurd and more commercial and shock based than logical. The notion that Wonder Woman and Batman should be lovers is very much at odds with who the characters are at heart. Batman and Wonder Woman each imply completely different points of view. They're far too different in their approaches, their upbringing, their beliefs, their plans, and even their personalities. Superman and Wonder Woman are a match, more than Superman and Lois and Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor.
