Yes, Tarantula defied Blockbuster by not killing Babs, but by breaking Dick and Babs up. Of course, she did this by having Dick behave completely OOC, jumping to Babs defence (and triggering babs usual rejection of assistance) when he is quite aware that she can handle most threats quite nicely by herself.
