More Wonder Woman Fanart

For legality, Wonder Woman and her fans.

Photobucket</a>

I think these ones with Dark Angel and Cheetah are by "Scarlet".

This one of Dark Angel and Donna Troy is by Tsuntsun Moon

FERDINAND!

Alkyone

Wonder Woman in a rematch with the Shattered God

I have no idea what started this, but some artists thought since N'Ubia is "black Wonder Woman" she should go up against black versions of some of Wonder Woman's enemies.

Hence... Blaganta, by "L".

N'Ubia vs. Egg Funk

N'Ubia vs. Black Pantheress

Adorable little monsters, ain't they?

Evil takes a day off

I love this one of Wonder Woman with Blue Beetle by Geers

Photobucket

Dr. Pscyho messing with YOUR head, by "Nicol3"

Photobucket

Okay, here's a weird one... Head from All New Atom, Deadpool, and Delerium? Not really WW fanart, but shut up.

Photobucket

I love this one of Chuma and... Judge Dredd? It's by "Doodlin' Ken".

Photobucket

As long as we're doing Judge Dredd, here's one by JR

Photobucket

And one by... I'm not sure.

Diana beating Jaime at... I'm going to assume Smash Bros, those controllers have a vaguely Gamecube look to them, is going to have me grinning all week. Her expression is so perfect!

Diana's showing Jaime that you can win with Zelda easily without even touching Sheik. I can't decide on Jaime. I want to almost say Link, but it would be silly to have a Link/Zelda match.

He's playing as Samus, of course.

Now that should've been obvious, why didn't I think of that?

Assuming everything is unlocked: Jaime plays Captain Falcon. Because he has the skill to take advantage of CF's powerful but finicky moveset, and because he likes shouting "FALCON PUNCH!" all the time like he were in an anime. Or possibly he plays Game & Watch. (If he doesn't, Paco does.)

Diana is playing Link. Because he's sensibly attired for arena combat. As she gets to know the game better, she'll switch over to Samus.

See, I figure Blue Beetle uses Samus ("I used to use Captain Falcon, but now that I have armor of my own..."), while Diana favors Link.

Eh, you don't play the character who's most like you thematically, you play the character who suits your playstyle. Samus and Falcon both reward skill, but Samus has very distributed strength - good at attack, good at defense, good at recovery - while Falcon lends himself most strongly to aggressive play. Jaime fights a very cautious, defensive style in his cape life, but he fires up the console and you know he's there to do some damage. Diana would seek a more balanced character, and of that group, I gotta think Samus' subversive history would appeal to her. ("Samus is a GIRL?" still gets said to this day, I had the joy of hearing it from a friend's little brother a couple years ago.)

I play theme over playstyle!

Heh. I play Yoshi. Because he's Yoshi, and I'm perfectly happy goofing off and buttonmashing with a game like that and opponents like the friends I typically play against. But I'm assuming both Diana and Jaime play to win, which changes selection priorities a little.

I'm always Zelda, because it's fun like nothing else to mess around with newbs and teleport away.

Or Pit! Because he can fly!

I had take a look at the gallery again because at first sight I thought that was Ted Kord and Diana in bed together and Diana was all satisfied after she got up in the morning and Ted looked like he out of his league with Wonder woman in bed.

Well, really, what is.

(Though Dark Angel being, by some reckonings, an alternate reality version of Donna, it does provoke some interesting questions about one's ethical right to warp oneself's own childhood.)

Interestingly, the most recent issue established that Diana has never worn high heels. Guess the guy in the crowd reads too many comics.

On the other hand, "high" heels is subjective.

I hate high heels, plus I'm pretty tall, so I almost always wear flat shoes. My idea of "high" heels is 6 cm, tops.

Maybe Diana has occasionally worn relatively-high heels, but was shocked when Dinah had her wear longass-high heels.

I think its interesting (if a bit She-Hulk) to imagine that real life heroes in the DCU are depicted in their pop culture and that's how the public may see them. That way the fight scene in the Wonder Woman movie that Diana dissaproved of would make sense, wherein there are different examples of WW in different WW costumes all fighting in the same shot.

WW and Supes are in the tabloids, various capes' images would be used in publications with or without their knowledge. However only Booster would have *liscenced* his image and logo.

I totally see that happening.

Not that far-fetched, considering the existence of the Golden Age WONDER WOMAN comic book is canon in the DCU. :)

I've never quite understood why people (gay guys like me included) care so much about the absence of high heels. Is there some stipulation that all female superheroes must wear silly and inconvenient footwear?
