My bad, I was confusing Double Date and Grudge Match (the latter of which aired here like 3 days ago, hence the yawn) as Gail's ep. Have done for years, probably becuase it has such a BoP vibe.

I don't find the scene funny because it's built on a frankly rather OOC take on Diana.

And I've been saying for years that the Amazons need to stop being the punching bags / abused spouses of the DCU. And they won't ever be able to do that until they tell teh gods that they love them but that doesn't excuse the monumental loads of crap they've dumped on them over the millennia.
