Meet Red She-Hulk

With classic She-Hulk Jennifer Walters (and gamma-powered pal Doc Samson) off the table in the wake of this week's "Incredible Hulk" #600, Loeb hopes to continually up the mystery quotient that has gone along with the series from its inception. "The story that follows immediately after #600 is what happens with Banner and A-Bomb, which in #13 is appropriately called 'Hulk No More,'" the scribe told CBR. "Then #14 through 17 is the 'Code Red' story which is what happens when someone learns 'Who is the Red Hulk?' when he or she is in what we refer to as 'Bruce Banner mode.' That ultimately leads to the conflict between the Red Hulk and X-Force, because it's Domino who finds out. During that time is when we meet Red She-Hulk, and at that point Jen is still missing, so she immediately becomes one of the suspects. And on that, I can't comment either way."

D: Sorry I took a while to get to this!

Yeah, I like it. :]. I like the knee-holes especially! More characters should have knee hole, I think.

Not too keen on the remaining boobularity BUT (alas) in comics that's barely even a relevant complaint. And, y'know, you drew feet, so you get points there.

Replacing the gun with the sai: yes.

I keep coming back to the knee holes.

I gotta invent some characters with knee holes!

Glad you like it. The cleavage remaining is for a real reason, actually. The real She-Hulk tends to be rather well-endowed, and... Well, if I was designing the character myself from scratch, as opposed to a re-design, I'd have used a different outfit entirely, that didn't even involve cleavage, or strange-looking materials of unknown origin (is it leather? is it spandex? is it lycra? is it latex? is it God-only-knows-what fictional fabric?). But there was a ton of skin visible in the original, so I figured I could only get away with covering so much without it becoming a totally different character... so I left in the torn off sleeves, two more tears (the removed knees), and a teeny bit of the open zipper issue (but only just enough for cleavage, without her risking falling out of the suit completely). Of course, I also made the zipper only exist to a comfortable length, just below her navel instead of way down there, and replaced the massive boob belt with three slender belts spaced across her torso. If I'd thought I could get away with the zipper closed all the way up to the awesome high collar, I would, because I absolutely love that style of collar, but alas. And yay, I get points for drawing feet! And using a pair of sais instead of one and an ugly huge gun! Yipee! And yes, you've gotta invent characters with knee holes. Totally.
