Sometimes, no words are necessary

These scans are pulled from two separate issues, so they don't exceed the page limit.

It all begins when Deleon, the man who stole Oliver Queen's fortune and bought his mansion, finds his old Arrowcave headquarters.

Basically, what's going on is that Deleon has been targeted for assassination by the supervillain Hellgrammite, after a deal gone sour. Now Deleon's hoping to blackmail Ollie into keeping him safe.

The costume was stolen from Star City's police museum, in case you're wondering.

Later, Deleon decides it's better to just pay Hellgrammite off instead of risk death. Ollie tries to track him down, in the hopes that he'll lead him to Hellgrammite and Black Canary, who's still captured.

Not realizing she's already escaped, Ollie finds Hellgrammite.

GA was originally a Batman-rip-off (from the same company! Ah, comics), so I guess it was just a matter of time . . .

"What follows is none of our business." So she's glad to see him while he's dressed as Batman, but snubs him once he puts back on the Arrow suit? And to think, she gets mad at him for the wig in "Justice"...

Heh, Ollie tripping on the cape is fantastic. And I need an icon of the Bat-Ollie facepalm.

Gotta love Deleon's logic: Cave + Millionaire = Batman. Even though Star City* already has its own superhero. And did anyone find his face in the "Oh" panel oddly... adorably hopeful?

*Presumably Star City, anyway. And I always thought it wasn't anywhere near Gotham.

So there's a missing half-hour with Dinah and Ollie wearing a Bat-costume. Kinky role-play sex, anyone?

You know what I really like about this one? It shows how Ollie is completely different from Bats: He doesn't go into a situation all prepared and with every doo-dat he might need, he just makes do with what he has.

Always saw Green Arrow as the boyscout among the heroes >_>

Gee, the good old days when a superhero could say "That woman's 'cruising for a bruising' and nobody would blink any eye.

Ollie and Dinah's enjoyment of costume play has been shown a few times, "The Longbow Hunters" is one that pops into mind mind.

But Dinah's thing with the Bat-suit? Bluefall's right, where do you even start?

I don't know what's so hilarious about that beard + cowl but it's fabulous. Also I love anything that has people struggling with capes. It's like you're either a cape person who gets off on them or can't stand them.

Aw man, I've loved that panel of Dinah standing around saying "I ain't the Mona Lisa" for so long, and a fifth of the reason why I love it so is because I always thought Bruce grew a blonde beard.

"I'm wearing the Batsuit Dinah... you know what that means.."

"NO! Ollie, I told you last time, I am NOT wearing the Robin costume... well, not again."

"But you've just spent all afternoon tied up, I thought it would put you in the mood. And a Robin is really just another type of bird isn't it?"

"You're a sick, sick man Ollie"

Out of curiosity, Deleon says he stole a Batman costume... That I can almost buy, but with a fully stocked, functioning utility belt? Where would you steal such a thing FROM?

I have this image of Ollie occasionally putting on the Bat-costume when he goes out to cruise for some strange.

"Well, hey, it's not that I couldn't keep it in my pants, it's that I couldn't keep it in BRUCE'S pants."

Somewhere out there are a number of blond, blue-eyed kids with fantastic hand-eye coordination whose mothers think that one day they'll go swinging grimly off into the night to collect kid sidekicks in Christmas colors.
