Stardust Versus the Villains of Virgon 6
Seems like we got a lot of Stardust comics being posted recently. Here is one I drew a few months ago.

That's pretty good.

Sees he is needed --> arrives too late --> beats villains with limitless Marty Stu powers --> administers grotesque and horrifying torture to villains as punishment --> declares victory with great self-satisfaction.

Yep, that's Stardust, alright.

But... WHAT ABOUT EVERY OTHER FUCKING LIVING THING ON THE PLANET?!

He boiled the fish, he boiled the plankton, he burned up the plants, he destroyed all crops!

DAMMIT!

(Though, it was faithful to the source, so kudos!)

They all would have perished anyway when the planet collapsed three days later, due to the overmining of its dark matter core for starship fuel.

Yes! I KNEW Vergon 6 was a Futurama planet, but I couldn't remember the episode. I fail forever.

That was spot-on. Hanks would've been proud. Well done!

My favourite bit was Stardust turning the ape into a "harmless tiger." LOL

Harmless tigers are so often confused with dangerous tigers. But the difference is easy to see. Is the tiger trying to maul you? Then it's a dangerous tiger!

it would be perfect, except Stardust only flies face-down.

I like this strip better than Mike Allred's attempt!

Maybe everyone should do a Stardust story and post it...

I can WRITE a Stardust story, but I'm afraid drawing one is beyond my current capabilities. Will that do?

The planet Earth was said to be home of Eden, but now no paradise existed. Cruel murderers and psychopaths prowled its surface, and sometimes below, pillaging and prevaricating the populace, bringing pain and suffering to any in their path. One such, Milo Anderhaberbach, a scientist and poet, had designs on the Alps.

"Drat those Alps!" he could be heard in his valley home. "They block my view! How can I pen odes to all I see if those overgrown molehills prevent me from SEEING ALL I SEE??!!?" Unlike most who complain, however, Professor Anderhaberback was doing something about it. "With my geoturbulensor, I'll turn the Alps into goo! They'll melt away like melting putty, and then my view will be unobstructed!"

Another being with an unobstructed view was the being known as Stardust, The Super Wizard. An advanced being, with vast knowledge of interplanetary science. This has made him the most remarkable man that ever lived. He housed himself in his own private star, not too far from Earth. There, he gazed through his superscope at Earth and saw Anderhaberbach's vile plan unfold. "Foolish man, to destroy the Alps and all that live upon them!" Stardust hurried towards the Earth with all the speed his science gave him. But he was too late. The Alps had started to fall.

Stardust, zooming in to the blue planet, third from its sun, witnessed the destruction as white hot anger surged through his sternum. His delicate detecting unit allowed him to see and feel the inhabitants of the Alps as their previously impervious peaks crumbled and shook, dooming them all. The Super Wizard attempted to go faster, but even he was limited by the speed of light. Eventually, he reached the Earth's surface. Hovering fifty meters above it, he used his vast interplanetary knowledge to halt the falling debris, but even he couldn't repair all of the damage.

"What?" cried Anderhaberbach. "What creature DARES to halt my progress against the Alps!?!?!" He should not have spoken, for by doing so, he allowed Stardust to home in on him without casting out in search of the scientist and poet. Stardust seemed to appear right above the mad mountain malefactor, making motions with his manipulators to message the maginable air currents in a mien most malefactory. The motions meant much to the mage of the spaceways, but the professor Anderhaberbach, they meant much more. Slowly, Anderhaberbach, in the midst of his missives against the magistrate of this matter, began to form calcinations upon his flesh. Abruptly, Anderhaberbach noticed, mid syllable, and his utterances became a screech of fear. The sounds reached Stardust, floating above, and he nodded once with satisfaction. "But I'm not done yet," he said, and so he glided down to where Anderhaberbach was standing as still as the statue he had turned into, below the neck. "So, Anderhaberbach! Now YOU are the mountain! And like all mountains, you will crumble to dust, only much swifter!"

With that, Stardust waved his hands, and focused his mental might against the stone of Anderhaberbach's body. "No! Stardust! I only wanted to see forever!" Anderhaberbach pled. But Stardust would not be deterred. As slowly as his body turned to stone, it now began to crumble and shatter, falling to the ground in a heap, only to shatter further into dust. "You wished to see? Now see the end!" said Stardust, as Anderhaberbach's head was the last thing to fall. Using his vast advanced knowledge, Stardust keep the head alive to witness his punishment, to be placed atop the highest peak on Earth until the seas dried up, the mountains fell to nothing, and the sun burned out. Thus was vengeance achieved on the murderer of so many on the Alps. Satisfied, Stardust returned to his private star, ready to return whenever and wherever crime struck, ready to act as STARDUST THE SUPER-WIZARD!
