It is deeply disappointing to me that I will likely never get to use the phrase 'they're so crooked, they have to screw their socks on' in public. Similarly, that I seldom have the presence of mind to break out the many bizarre exclamations I have learned through comics, such as 'Sockamagee!', 'Cushlamochrie!' and 'Well, butter my ears and call me toasty!' I generally just go 'Whoa' or 'Wow' or something. Life is cruel.
