The Power of Poetry
A scene from the latest Deadpool 11, which made me laugh out loud for several times and which I haven't found posted. And yes I did try to seek through tags, but I have to admit that I'm not really feeling this system we currently have.

In the issue prior to this Bullseye had put an arrow through Deadpool brain. In this issue he takes Wade to a butcher to chop up to combat that nasty healing issue. Wade manages to stumble way, with the help of a radio therapist remove the arrow from his brain and take care of the butcher. So what is left is of course Bullseye, but Wade has a slight problem resulting from the arrow.

I hope that made you laugh as much as it did me. I do also recommend the rest of the issue, so that you can be amused by the following:

Bullseye's reaction when Wade comes to face him in hand-to-hand combat
What Wade wanted to grow up to do as a child
"Take that Mrs. Meyer."
"Mrs. Bolton."
"Oh no. He's beating our meat." Seriously, you have to read that scene.
The final dialogue between Wade and Bullseye.

In finish I have to say that even though I had my doubts over Way's take on Wade in Wolverine: Origins, I've simply loved the current run of Deadpool and I've understood it's even been something of a financial success. Well, as much as comics can be these days.

If that were truly true, Daredevil have been in a grave long ago.

Yeah, but it's usually because Daredevil moves too fast for him, or something else is in the way.

Bullseye doesn't shoot like a Stormtrooper like it's shown here.

It's not like he can't miss, or that he can CURVE BULLETS to auto-hit. He doesn't have superpowers. He's just capable of shots most people never dream possible. Of course, it used to be a big deal with he'd miss.

Upon seeing that icon, it occurs to me that Typeface needs a foil that thrusts poetry into people's faces. ::musing::

I used to do that with the word 'banana" as a child, as I did not know when the "na"s ended.

You know... I'm liking the new Deadpool stuff. Not as much as I liked Cable and Deadpool, truthfully, but still.

I love the 'broken brain' captions! 'Nixtlraspberryberetdoobie-doo' - hee hee. This must've been a pretty fun issue to write.
