Secret Six #11

Her choice of bed-mates(he did kind of shoot her in the gut) aside, I seriously adore Jeannette.

Was wondering how she'd react to the way the place was set up, at the very least, given her backstory. Alas, as one can imagine, this doesn't go over so well with the rest of the group. The sides taken don't seem too surprising and it all leads to a rather wonderful last page despite certain not so wonderful implications. :\

I've just realized, is Jeannette the one and only badass French character in comics?

In my experience, French characters are always portrayed as jokes in comics, but Jeannette is seriously hardcore.

...May I ask for a non-mafioso, competent Italian character who doesn't say "mamma mia"*, now? And I mean a character who is actually Italian, not one who has got a little bit of Italian blood from one ancestor (sorry, Zatanna).

*Note the double "m" in "mamma mia". If you must use an annoying stereotype, at least spell it right.
