Superman has put Superboy though a Virtual Reality tour of Krypton's history, up to it exploding. Basically, Superman wants Superboy to spy on Cadmus, which Superboy isn't very comfortable with. After all, Cadmus is his home.





But Superboy being an "inside man" isn't the only thing...





I have something in my eye.

Now that Kon-El is not dead, does this mean Dan DiDio... doesn't hate you?

I keep wanting to go "d'awww" at this like the first time I read it, but then I keep going back to thinking that Superman has strange motives in this. It's like he's guilting Superboy into spying on his friends, and the new name is his reward. Especially since he's not letting Kon in on the fact that Superman/Kal-El is also Clark Kent. (Kon finds out a few issues later, but it was an accident, and in an alternate universe.)

Forget it, I'm just gonna "d'awww" at this. D'awww!

Can we please have this Kon back instead of stupid-face jock Conner? I hope dying made him realise that a t-shirt and jeans is not a costume and that Kon is his real name and that he should be skinny again with his silly (but awesome) haircut.

And the earring, don't forget the earring.

The guy's just back from the dead. 75% of his girlfriends's costumes have been T-shirt and jeans. You want to start an argument between them already.

A;though it's not like DC will just let them start dating straight away again. They'll need "space"

Damn, I actually prefer Cassie's original costume over all her others *hypocrite*

Why does everyone need "space" after they have died? I am pretty confident I would want to make out with my girlfriend again straight away.

I agree. But his coming back seems like something to appease fans, which means for a while he'll probably jsut be filler in crowd scenes.

I happen to think Connor is a perfectly fine extension of Kon, sort of like I feel like Batman should set up an emergency alies of Calvin Ellis for Superman if he ever needs it. And he really he just got bigger. He didn't turn into a jock.

Superboy didn't HAVE a real name during much of his run. Personally, I LIKE buffer Kon/Conner. He was living on a farm and was growing up. It's what happens to teens. Keeping him kidlike would be sort of creepy.

Are we reading the same comics? He was almost always a particularly buff teenager in relation to how the artist normally draws teenagers.

I meant skinny in comparison to how he is now.
