Atari Force (Two) - One Perfect Moment
My very first post. I thought it would be appropriate to contribute to the community what I consider to be the perfect moment of the first comic that caught and held my interest, DC's Atari Force (Two)
One page from Issue 6 (June 1984):
It always struck me, even at the young age that I happened upon the series, that this was a story about an estranged father and son. Despite the fact that the series boasted a very strong female lead, it was her "little brother" and his "crazy father" that hooked me. This page shows father and son in form, their interaction observed by an empath thus giving the reader further insight. The art is attractive and shows emotion in a way that I think you could sense Martin's inner turmoil in the scene even if the text were removed.
